Great place for a weekend away! We enjoyed our stay.

Great place with lots to do....house is roomie and the neighbors are great

We stayed here for one weekend and had a great stay. The house was clean, cozy, and in a great location for skiing at Beech Mountain!

The chalet was even better in person. The view is incredible and the whole feeling of the place was peaceful, thoughtful, and refreshing. Ron was very communicative and helpful and provided very clear instructions for finding the place and for checking in. I would stay there again any time.

The house was beautiful and clean. Brooke was quick to respond with any questions or issues we had. She even ordered an electric griddle for us so we didn't have to bring one. One of the bedrooms listed had two twins instead of a king and the beds weren't the best. Additonally, there was only 1 shower (second bathroom had a tub) however we made do and still had a wonderful time :)

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet. The beds are very cozy, and the location was fantastic! We loved being able to see the slopes from the back deck. We will definitely be booking this home again. Thank you for a great stay!

We absolutely loved this place as a get away for a couples’ weekend so much so that we are planning to return with our children this summer. It’s very homey and has everything you need to disconnect from things and relax. We can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Chalet! It was perfect for a short ski weekend. It is only a 5 minute drive to the slopes and restaurants. The hot tub was the perfect touch during this cold winter season. One thing to note, is parking is very limited. We were able to squeeze 2 trucks and 1 mid-size car, however, if traveling with larger vehicles, this would cause an issue. The airbnb was clean for the most part, however, we did notice that some of the comforters on the beds weren't the cleanest, and the showers needed some attention. However, besides that, it was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway at Beech Mountain.

This is our second year staying at Steve’s place at Beech Mountain, and it was just as great as the first time! Seeing the sunset off the balcony was gorgeous and the kitchen was fully stocked for us to be able to cook meals after a long day of skiing. We also appreciated the little touches like flashlights and Hot Hands for late night walks.

Charlotte was a proactive and communicative host. Her home had everyting we needed, we enjoyed the beautiful views, and we appreciated being close to a grocery store, restaurants, and many activities.

We had a large family group and this place was just what we required. Took a little creative thinking to get all our vehicles into the parking area, otherwise there was more than enough room for everyone. It rained a bit during our stay and the variety of amusements in the lower level proved to be a perfect diversion for some of our younger members. The lack of air conditioning on a hot & humid arrival day was a minor drawback, but after making that known our host quickly provided some additional fans. We had some hiking trails nearby with plenty of shopping and eating places within a reasonably short driving distance. Staff was very responsive to each and every need for assistance. An added treat was the abundance of deer wandering around during our stay. We did not see any real bears.

Beautifully maintained large mountain cabin with all the comforts of home. The large, well supplied kitchen made meal prep for 8 super easy. All rooms were comfortable, bathrooms spotless, and the new large deck offered great views of the local fauna and wildlife (lots of whitetail deer). Michael contacted us after arrival to make sure we were happy with the rental, and shared some good information about the area. I highly recommend this mountain retreat!

Amazing location! This chalet is perfectly situated right at the bottom of a blue run, quickly becoming our favorite spot to start our ski days. Beyond skiing convenience, the porch was fantastic for relaxing and enjoying the entertainment provided by skiers—whether pulling off impressive tricks or wiping out spectacularly, both equally fun to watch! The host was outstanding—proactive, highly communicative, and incredibly responsive. The chalet itself comfortably accommodated our family of four (two adults and two kids) and was filled with thoughtful touches: a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of charging outlets, and even sleds in the basement, which the kids absolutely loved. Having seen other rental options nearby, I can confidently say this spot is unmatched for ski-in/out convenience and slope-side entertainment. As an added bonus, we even spotted a bear strolling the slopes! Don't hesitate to book this place—you won’t regret it!

This is our third year coming to Kristen’s home. It is in a beautiful neighborhood with gorgeous hills and views. The fireplace is perfect for roaring fires and the kitchen is well equipped. The best part is the ground level apartment with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms that gave our large group a little extra room and privacy. The beds were so comfortable and everything felt like home. Will definitely be back next year!
