This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The house is situated in a great location at the village of Waterfoot right beside the beach, 5 minutes drive from the Glennariff forest. A children's playpark a short walk away a local supermarket, a chippy and 2 pubs on your doorstep. At this location you are in the middle of the famous Causway coastal route with The Giants Causway, Carrick a rope Bridge , the Dark hedges , the towns Ballycastle and Portrush etc.

Centrally located between Belfast and The Causeway Coast, this unique property is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area.

We can't wait for you to stay! Beattie's Byre is located not far from the local village of Broughshane, on our family farm. With forest walks, animal parks, golf courses, shops, play areas, coffee shops and restaurants within 5 miles there is plenty to explore or you can choose to stay on site where our garden and patio areas are complete with comfortable garden seating and hot tub overlooking Slemish Mountain. Gorgeous, self contained, annexe of country house

A lovely, recently renovated, self-contained annexe to our house, set in a picturesque, very peaceful, rural setting. The views south are magnificent. Own entrance, kitchen and bathroom (shower but no bath). A great location from which to see Belfast and the northern part of N. Ireland, including the Glens of Antrim and Giant's Causeway. Game of Thrones locations are not far, (we are 45 minutes drive from the Dark Hedges). In summer, Richard may be flying his hot air balloon!

We are an ideal base to sample excellent local cuisine, walk in the steps of Giants at the Causeway or follow the Game of Thrones trail. Approx 25 minutes from Belfast and 60 minutes from the beautiful North Coast and Glens, the Barn is an ideal base for relaxing after a busy day.
