Rosie the Road Workers' Living Wagon

Situated in Upper Inverroy, near Roy Bridge, and with unbroken views to some of Scotland’s highest and most beautiful peaks, Rosie is ideally placed for visitors who are keen to explore the beautiful mountains, glens, lochs and coastal waters of Lochaber, the outdoor capital of the U.K. Rosie was built in 2019 upon an original early 1930’s road workers’ living wagon chassis. The spacious converted barn boasts a fully fitted kitchen, Wi-Fi , Freeview Tv in the lounge and in the bedrooms , comfy lounge and dining area, a fully tiled Shower room with a heated towel rail, 2 bedrooms and a patio where you can sit and enjoy the tranquil, mesmorising views.

Taigh Na Frithe is a large spacious apartment that can sleeps 2. The bed is a superking and there is a built in wardrobe and views to the garden. The living room looks out across the garden through massive French windows which can also be fully opened on fair-weather days. This really opens up the space and brings the beautiful scenery inside. The modern, fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need with cooker, microwave, large fridge/ freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher.

This peaceful and private location in the heart of the Highlands provides a great base for those who enjoy the outdoors or the peace and quiet to relax. It is the perfect spot for walking, cycling, fishing, skiing, water sports and wildlife spotting. It is a central point on the Great Glen Way meaning nothing is too far from here such as Loch Ness or Ben Nevis. It is also on the way to Skye meaning it provides a perfect stopover to recharge before carrying on through the Highlands.

The Knockie Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage with bathroom and private access. Enjoy the views of the Highlands (approx 27 miles from Inverness) with its beautiful open countryside and mountains. Just outside you have Loch Knockie that attracts a variety of wildlife and is great for trout fly fishing. Enjoy fishing in the private Loch nan Lann. The Cottage is perfectly situated for explore Loch Ness and enjoy hiking the beautiful hills.
