It is in an area of private homes and our neighbors enjoy the quiet surrounding area. Located in Greenbush which is between Oscoda and Harrisville. Enjoy walks on the sugar sand beach. View freighters, sailboats and the vast beautiful lake. We have Kayaks available for your use. The Ausable river is about 10 miles away. It offers excellent opportunities for canoeing and tubing

Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. The resort features stunning, unimpeded views of Lake Huron and the eastern horizon. We are located 2 miles south of downtown Oscoda and 12 miles north of downtown Tawas.
