Would like to give a huge shoutout to Hari for this property. ..It was a pleasant stay for us and was more of a homely feel with good ambience and good surrounding. Hari was a great host and was very responsive with all the quires and kept us in loop from check-in to check-out. well maintained property with almost all amenities provided for us in the entire stay. As name given, the property is surrounded by a lake frontage and outdoor was well equipped with relaxing spots and BBQ point. We were a group of friends meeting after 10 years and wanted a private space with relaxing facilities so that we can share our happiness together. Lake homes was a pure gem for us since we were able to spend most of our time together without any disturbance and during late night we had a good ambience surrounded by good lightings and all we did was sitting the small huts and discussing our lives. Everyone in our group enjoyed the stay and would recommend to any group who prefer to spend time privately.

Sie hat uns außerdem spontan eine tolle Canoe-Tour mit Vishnu zum Sonnenaufgang organisiert. Wir würden die Canou-Tour zum Sonnenaufgang allen empfehlen. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und am Abend mit vielen Lichterketten beleuchtet. Man kann direkt am Fluss entspannen. Das Essen ist lecker! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Munroe Island zu euch:)

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. What really stood out was the Shaun's kindness and willingness to help. He went above and beyond by connecting me with a reliable driver, which made getting around so much easier. His communication was quick and helpful throughout my stay. Kids would love the balcony 😉!I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here!!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The setting was incredibly peaceful and picturesque—surrounded by nature, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Every morning felt like a breath of fresh air, and the views were simply stunning. An infinity pool in the middle of the jungle made was exceptional. A special thank you to our host, Pirrko who was exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Chandran and Usha were the caretakers who made sure we had a peaceful stay. Altogether, their warm hospitality made the entire experience even more memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and I’d love to return in the future!

The suite was exceptional, providing a peaceful and relaxing holiday experience. The room's appearance precisely matched the provided photographs. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and readily available to assist with any needs. Getting to Edava Beach was easy from the property. The only downside was some drunk people hanging around the entrance and staring which was a bit annoying when we walked to the beach.

Had a great stay at Maadathil Cottages. This property is tucked away in a beautiful part of Varkala away from the hustle and bustle but still with easy access to everything. The cottage was spacious and clean with hot water and a great AC. The view of the sea is simply amazing and it’s just steps away from a sort of private enclosed part of the beach. The food was good and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The host is very friendly and responsive too. Would definitely stay here again and totally recommend this place. Thank you Mujahir!

The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed kayaking, available on the property itself, with additional cost, of course. There was a storm on the evening of our stay, and it was a scene to behold, such vast expanses of water in lightning and storm, through the glass walls of the cabin, definitely a pristine experience. The manager at the property was helpful and welcoming. The hammock by the shore became my favorite spot right from the go. I look forward to revisit at a later time.

My husband and I—both musicians—came to Kaayal in Varkala for a secluded retreat to make music, and what we experienced went far beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Nobby, the gracious host, who made sure we felt at home and fully taken care of. The property itself is an absolute gem—nestled by the lake, surrounded by nature, and so serene that we woke up each morning to the sounds of birds and the gentle rustle of leaves. The view of the lake alone is enough to calm your soul and inspire creativity. Special shoutout to Vicky and Kichu, the incredible caretakers who went above and beyond to make our stay effortless and joyful. Whether it was delicious home-cooked meals, piping hot tea within minutes of asking, or just being on standby for anything we needed—they made sure we could focus on what we came to do. The house was spotless, and the bathroom looked like something straight out of an architecture magazine. Highly recommend this Air BnB!

We enjoyed our stay at Harmony Hilltop, Elanthoor. The facilities provided were adequate and comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive to our requests and responded quickly. On our request, they arranged for our transportation and food. We had a memorable Christmas Holidays at Harmony Hilltop. My feedback for Airbnb users who want to rent out this facility would be that you should communicate clearly and regularly with the hosts (Beena Mammen and Roy Abraham). They respond very fast and will address all your concerns (if any) and your requirements. Unless you communicate, they may not know your exact requirements. So, don't hesitate to talk to them.
