Overall, a great place to stay with a large family. The pool and hot tub were nice, and there is a beach that is walkable (.75 Miles away). The host was responsive to an issue we had during our stay that was due to a power outage. Our family really enjoyed the house, and the surrounding areas.

Our mom’s weekend was lovely! Danielle went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes! We would definitely stay here again!

My brother, father and I really enjoyed staying at the loft! Valentine provided us with everything we could have asked for and more. We will definitely be recommending this space to our friends and family :)

Fantastic Place! Our hosts Angela and Ed were very responsive and met us there on check in. Gave us a tour of the property and let us know things to do in the area. Our little ones thoroughly enjoyed the pool, games and puzzles. The house has plenty of space and having a private bathroom in each bedroom was a blessing. The house was very clean and had a guide to help with everything. Very private and peaceful, a good place to unwind from the hectic work schedules. Once again great place and great hosts. Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful vacation at Sandy's cottage. The surroundings are gorgeous, the stairway down to the lake is very easy to get to, and there were even some playful squirrels to watch from the front windows. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry areas were all well stocked. The water was delightfully hot, the central heat kept us extremely comfortable. This really is a gem of a place! Sandy was a very responsive, friendly host. We had no issues with check in or check out--everything was lovely. Our group of eight fun-loving moms enjoyed a weekend ‘girls getaway’ at Chad’s chalet in the Grey Highlands. There was plenty of room for us to spread out for sleeping and relaxing, and a great space to be all together in the kitchen area. With a sitting area on each floor, this would also be a great house for large families of different age groups who want their own spot to hang out. Our group also enjoyed the comfortable beds, the spacious bathrooms, the well-stocked kitchen, and the gorgeous outdoors (including the hot tub, of course!). Chad was a thoughtful host who even left us wood for a bonfire, so don’t forget to pack some marshmallows! We hope to return again next year for another fabulous experience. Worth noting: the coffee maker is a Keurig... BYOPods!

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our family of 7. It was clean and comfortable. The backyard is big and gorgeous. The house is very close to the lake, and the grocery store as well. Although, the beaches in Bayfield were tiny, and do not suit big groups. (We had to drive for about 20 min to go to a better beach.) We also had an amazing service and everytime we needed to communicate with Jennifer, she was always there to answer us. Bayfield is a beautiful little town and the lake is just majestic. Worth the 10h drive from Quebec City.

Merle's place was absolutely pet friendly! we loved the backyard, the patio area was beautiful.. it was indeed a good time, bbq'd and relaxed the whole long weekend! big backyard space for the little ones to play in and for the fur babies (separate areas too) It was clean, everything that we needed (and forgot to bring) we found at her place! I loved that the cleaning stuff were available for the guests to utilize. Vacationing with toddlers can get really messy, that's when proper cleaning supplies come in handy! It was a short walk to Victoria Park (with splash pad), short walk to little downtown (happened that there was a fair on the weekend of our stay! was a bonus). Also, we just walked down the beach, enjoyed the peaceful vibe and some ice cream. Highly recommend Merle's place for those who are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing and peaceful stay in a small town...

This was our second stay at this home in Desboro. It is the perfect retreat - quiet, space, an extremely cozy (but not small) home. We were happy to be there in a snow storm with a fire, snowshoes, and pingpong!

Our stay was amazing. The amenities available to are too many to list. The home is extremely comfortable, clean and fun! The hosts are truly welcoming and accommodating. They made sure the driveway was clear of snow before our arrival which was very much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again.

This Airbnb was nothing short of amazing! The location was stunning, overlooking the water. The Airbnb itself was bright and spacious, with everything you needed to feel right at home. The sunset view was absolutely breathtaking every night and the hot tub was such a nice treat after long days. The only 2 things that could make it even better: First would be having hand towels in the bathrooms (George did tell us we had to bring towels, but we figured he meant bath towels and didn’t think to bring hand towels too). Second, the stairs to the airbnb door are quite steep which was fine for us, but worth making note of if anyone has mobility issues. Also, the private beach access is borderline dangerous, with broken steps and uneven ground. However, it did look like there was construction underway for new stairs, hopefully! Overall, George was great and we loved this place. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

The property was wonderfully quiet. We spent Saturday quietly and had a nice cheery fire in the fireplace on Saturday night. It was just the right place for us to have a little getaway.

Came with a group of 11 and we had a great weekend here, very unique place. So spacious and was nice and clean when we arrived. It is easy to find and lots to do within a 10-20 min drive. Andjela is a very responsive and helpful host. Definitely would love to come stay again. Thankyou for having us

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Has everything we needed. Being in Port Elgin in the fall, having the propane fire pit is perfect. Lots of room for 6 adults. Enjoyed the restaurants and the trails that are close by. We will definitely come back. Thank you Julie Ken and Lorna

This was our second time staying at Naomi’s place and it was as fabulous as the first time!! Excellent location, the house was spotless, the yard is private and large enough to play family games and the fire pit was perfect for after dinner family time . We could easily fit 3 cars in the driveway and the kitchen and living area were large enough for us all to cook and spend time together. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to be close to the beach ( a very short walk ) . Shopping is also a short car ride and everything g you need is in close distance. We love this cottage and will be booking it again 😊

John was very responsive to my messages when we had an issue with locking one of the doors. He went out of his way to give us some recommendations for local places to go. The house was clean and accurately described.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was great for our group of four couples. Everyone had their own room, bathroom and plenty of space. The kitchen was large and had plenty of cooking utensils. We enjoyed sitting on the deck during the day and using the fire pit at night. It is in a walkable location close to many restaurants. I appreciated how communicative the host was during our stay. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay there again.

It's a nice place to get away from your daily life. There is a a beautiful beach just 2 min away from this location. I picked this location to cover Bluemountain and Tobermory as it’s almost in the middle.

The Riverside Retreat is well organized with nice little touches throughout making it easy to feel like a home away from home. Erin and Wayne have thought of everything that we could possibly need within our day-to-day. They were exceptional host being extremely friendly and with quick response times to any questions. It is the beginning of Spring and I'm sad I won't see this place at its full potential, in bloom, the Landscaping seems remarkable as I noticed things sprouting up during our stay. The solarium was our favorite part, being able to enjoy the warmth from the Sun and watch all the local wildlife go about their day was delightful. 519 was our favorite restaurant and the community is very friendly. Thank you Erin and Wayne for entrusting us with your home, we greatly appreciated it.

A really beautiful house. Found everything handy. The checking set up was really good. The house was also very clean when we checked in.
