Hilderstone Stable

Nestling in a quiet rural setting Hilderstone Stable was converted recently into a contemporary high quality 2 bed cottage. 5 mins north of J35 M6. This cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District, Arnside/Silverdale AONB, Leighton Moss and Yorkshire Dales. The settlement of Hilderstone can be traced back to the 13th century. The barn was built originally in c1750. There is still a working farm as part of the 200 acre Hilderstone Farm. A great base for outdoor activities.

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Set in the small peaceful village of Storth (AONB) by the tidal river Kent Estuary, on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodlands or just walk a few hundred yards out of the door and you can walk for miles along the beach.

Upper Crumble a romantic retreat for two set in an idyllic rural location with beautiful views. It has its own Hot Tub in a private courtyard. Perfectly located to access The Lakes and the medieval village of Cartmel. Cosy log stove, Wifi and private car park. Our large private gardens can be viewed 4-6pm summer time or by arrangement and a map is left in the cottage. The Back Garden Section shows photos of these areas.
