Beautiful cottage in the perfect location for our daughter’s wedding. Wish we had more time to explore the trail and relax in the peaceful surroundings! Very much enjoyed the rocking chairs on both porches, especially listening to the rain.

The Silver Canoe Campground was great. My son and I had a wonderful weekend enjoying each others company. The pool was a huge bonus and he loved getting a chance to play in the game room, too. Staff was friendly and we met a ton of friendly people throughout the camp as well. Our dogs enjoyed the trails and accommodations. Sites are well kept and I’d be happy to come back again.

Our host was great to work with, responsive when we had issues (out of their control, not related to their service) and helped us walk through the steps of a later check out. Assisted when we had questions and were incredibly kind. If you're ever in the area, especially for Groundhog Day festivities, I strongly recommend this location for you, a guest, and possibly a furry friend.

I had a great stay, even though I don’t consider myself much of a camper, everything was as mentioned in the listing, there was good communication with the host, and accommodations were made for my late check-in. 30-minutes from Punxsutawney if you’re visiting for Groundhog Day!

This was a lovely stay for us to visit family in the area. I would definitely recommend it and would come back again. The house is welcoming. very clean. I loved that there was a really nice porch with chairs for sitting. The rest of the outdoor space is great too with the picnic tables and fire pit. We loved seeing the deer in the yard. Very peaceful.

We had a great time! The place was just like the pictures, and the setting was beautiful! The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a delightful stay at Stone Cottage! It was warm, cozy, and great space for two people (and dog friendly)—perfect for snuggling up after a long day.

Comfortable place for an overnight stay. It was warm enough to eat on the porch on April 4th. Nice views.

The location is great for a getaway. There’s hiking, and a creek. You can kayak, float on an inner tube, lets the kids and dog play in the creek or hang out in the tent along the river. Yes, it’s pet friendly. The house was ready, clean, and comfortable. Unfortunately you do get a little phone service with Verizon. Haha. But it’s slower so it takes away the appeal for family to be on phones. We brought books and sat on the long front porch and read. Good times were had by all. This place is priced perfectly. More and it would be higher than I’d be willing to pay for a night’s stay anywhere.

I grew up in the area so it was wonderful to connect w Shirley before making the reservation. We knew a lot of the same people so it was like talking to a neighbor. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by the two barn cats and then Shirley and her husband pulled up to greet us as well. It was fun to reminisce and catch up on some names from the community. The place is super clean and I slept well both nights. Water pressure was very good and hot water was plentiful. The property is located in a local side road with beautiful views and fresh clean air with the sounds of nature surrounding. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all.

We wanted a quiet getaway for the weekend and that is exactly what we got. The trailer is set back a good distance from the road and you’re surrounded by pastures and woods. We enjoyed a short walk to the stream where we watched wildlife. The camper is comfortable and clean. The owners are easy to get in touch with if you have any questions. We really enjoyed our stay and were sad that we didn’t book it for longer. We will definitely book it again.

The house was clean and a perfect spot to spend 3 nights while on business in the area.
