Really nice and peaceful. Kind of older but that's what we were looking for. The view from the balcony was amazing. The only issue we had was the hot tub wasn't working other than that the place was amazing.

Wonderful stay at A-frame State of Mind! House was perfect for our girls’ trip and had all the amenities listed PLUS more. Beds were super-comfy, view was so peaceful, and the detailed instructions were unmatched by any other ABnB I’ve stayed in. The night lights throughout the house were so helpful when getting up in the middle of night. Would highly recommend and hope to return for another visit! We loved the whole vibe of this beautiful property. It was a great getaway. The view was awesome, especially from the hot tub! The beds and furniture were comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay here and I would definitely book it again.

This place was breathtaking. The perfect weather and great fishing right outside in the pond. The house was clean and so cute. The host was very quick to respond and they even had some welcome flowers and champagne with a card for us on our honeymoon. I would highly suggest this place and we will definitely be back frequently. ❤️

Location is great if you need a change of pace. Home is very clean with lots of space to spread out. My wife and I enjoyed staying here. The drive up from Texas was scenic. There wasn't good service for our phones, but we could still use Uber Eats for snacks by going outside. My only knock is the neighbors letting their dogs roam free and pooping everywhere, but it is more of the rural setting thing that can't be controlled. If you have dogs that aren't friendly, just keep them leashed up when you go for a walk. All in all, we loved it.

Everything as described and pictured for Charlie’s home! We enjoyed our stay. Had wonderful communication with Charlie and quick response when needed. Made us feel welcome. We appreciated all the little things left for people staying. Laundry pods and coffee!! Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

Shannon's place was perfect for us with just the right amount of rooms and ample indoor and outdoor space for everyone, including our dog. It was also close to downtown and Lake Murray which was nice and convenient. Shannon was a responsive host and I'm glad we booked with her.

We had a wonderful stay at this modern cabin nestled right next to the state park. The space was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Surrounded by trees, it felt like a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying coffee on the deck among the trees was a highlight. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene, nature-filled escape. The hosts were quick to respond and very friendly.

Was the much needed break from a busy life that I didn’t know I needed until I got there. No schedules to follow, laid back time table to catch up with my best friend since childhood. Morning coffee on the porch in the breeze and finished our day on the porch listening to the sounds of summer in the woods surrounding the place. Did NOT want to leave.

Had so much fun, and enjoyed every second of our trip!

Cute lake home - quiet street so was peaceful...

We stayed in the Mallard cottage overnight to break up a long road trip and it was just perfect for our family of four. We had plenty of room to stretch out after a long day in the car and our dog was in heaven exploring the property. Our only regret is that we did not have time to stay longer. My husband had a great time fishing for a few hours and we loved the peace and quiet of the property. We grabbed some treats from the store and lounged for movie night in front of the indoor fireplace. And then enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning. Carol was easy to work with and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was our 3rd year to stay here. Great place and great host. close to Kingston and Durant. we'll be back next year

We were only there for one night but would definitely go back, great location, friendly neighbors and lots to do!

Just a perfect getaway for my wife and I. Quiet, clean, and a convenient drive from McKinney, Tx. Donna was a joy to work with and we finished our visit with dinner at Ole Red, a brief interaction with Blake Shelton, and a great small venue concert with Zuma. The cabin was phenomenal… clean.. great shower… great fireplace… and yes the towels were really as great as everyone else had reviewed. Our new “ go-to” getaway!

The cabin is fantastic! Even though it’s super close to the highway, it feels very secluded. We loved the peaceful surroundings-and deer visited the area next to our cabin morning and evening! The queen bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom offer just the right amount of space. If you need to work remotely or just stream your favorite shows, the WiFi is amazing! We had a great stay at the red cabin and would stay again!

We had our first mom’s retreat and this was a perfect place for us! The place is beautiful, not too far from home but far away from the city madness! The house and the view is beautiful! Sunset view was stunning! Pictures match the actual place. Clean beds with white sheets is always a plus! House has so much stuff in case you need extra sheets/ blankets/ kitchen items. Very quiet and enjoyable. Catherine was very nice and great to communicate with. Enjoyed every bit of it and will definitely visit again!

We loved our stay, even with bad weather keeping us stuck inside we still had a great time at the cabin! Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area!

Such a hidden gem! Quiet and relaxing. Kids did some Kayaking and lots of fishing. It's a very cute and comfy place with lots for the kids to enjoy! Will definitely go back. It's also close to Hughes crossing on Blue River which is a fond childhood memory to me!

It was a very last minute trip but she was very communicative and accommodating! We plan to return for sure
