Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. Stunning house, stunning location. The attention to detail was fantastic, Philippa and Andrew were so approachable, friendly and helpful and they helped to make our stay comfortable. The house was spotless and full of everything we needed. Our children are already asking how soon we can come and visit again. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and the view were gorgeous, what a gem of a find. Very much looking forward to returning to Yoredale House, Thankyou for having us!

We spent only one night at Naomi’s place, arriving very late after a family event, but it was a pleasant overnight stay with super comfortable beds and a great shower in the morning. I left a necklace behind and Naomi and Darren kindly looked for it and sent it to me by registered post, for which I am very grateful.

Excellent location within walking distance of the lovely park and Harrogate centre. The property was perfect for us and had everything you would need for a stay. Lovely little paved garden at the rear. Would definitely recommend xx

Amanda was a lovely host. She was very responsive and helpful when we messaged. The house is deceptively big and there's plenty of room to chill and get ready for busy days. It is very well stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment for if you decide to cook at home. The beds are all doubles and they're very comfy with tonnes of blankets to keep extra cosy if you like! The area is nice with a big beach. We did find that there isn't a great lot to do, so we found ourselves driving quite a lot but if you're a walker, it would be perfect with all the coastal paths. Diamond pizza is a fab place to get a quick bite after a long day so we would definitely recommend there if you're a fan of a mucky tea! If you're wanting to explore the Northumberland coast and find yourself in Bamburgh, we would definitely recommend Creel and Reel seafood trailer for som delicious locally sourced seafood! All in all we have had a wonderful stay with our dogs and found Amanda's place the perfect getaway!

We were splendidly well looked after in a fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. Finding out that we could walk to some woods was just an added bonus. Strongly recommend.

Perfect place to stay if exploring Newcastle and surroundings. Sandra had thought hard about what her guests might need and it was all available for us.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

We spent 5 nights here at the end of March and start of April 2025. We were really fortunate with the weather and took full advantage of the wonderful location: scaling Slight Side and Scafell on one day, riding to Coniston via the bridleway on another and 'bagging' most of the Coniston fells on another day via Wrynose Pass. We ate in on a couple of nights and also went to the Wainwright's for some pub grub, as well as Stoves for their evening menu. Simon and Belinda's place is very well situated in Great Langdale for all kinds of walks and rides, food and decent pints. The house itself is a lovely place to return to in the evening with easy parking outside for our van and once inside, everything is spotless, well equipped and cosy. We really appreciated all the helpful information on bike routes and walking routes and spent the late evenings by the fire pouring over the Wainwright books planning the next day's adventures. 100% recommended.

Our stay was really perfect and exact what we needed, the room, cleanliness, layout, enclosed garden, everything with our accommodation was amazing and looked exactly as advertised if not nicer. The bar and restaurant was great for us, we had drinks on numerous occasions and snacks and last night we ordered a takeout which is a good idea and made it so we could make the most of the cabin. We went on walks and the grounds were great, we seen the pool also which looked like a great asset for the summer, the animals we seen were also beautiful. It feels like we have found a gem, we often go Center Parcs and it reminded us of that on a much smaller scale. Would definitely go again.

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

A really lovely cabin with everything you need for enjoying a few days in the Lakes. We loved the location, very close to Ambleside and not far from Grasmere and Windermere for shops. Loads of nice trails available as soon as you leave the estate. We stayed with two kids and it was perfect, would love to visit again!

really lovely place to stay in the Lake District. The accommodation is modern, clean and reasonably spacious (it can sleep 5 but dining table is small and can only fit 4). But the bedrooms are nice with super comfortable beds, and both bathrooms are right next to each bedroom, which is really handy . The kitchen is well equipped with a washer/dryer too which we didn't use but great to know it's there for the future. Only improvements I could suggest is to include a coffee machine ( which every Airbnb property we've stayed at has had and are cheap but great for guests who enjoy a decent coffee in the morning), and for the TV to have terrestrial channels. It was a smart TV so it was great being able to connect our Netflix account to, but this and catch-up was all that was available. These are minor points as neither would stop us returning. Louise and team were very responsive to our queries which was great. We'll definitely return soon and can recommend this place.

This property was beautiful, and as described. I would go as far as saying it exceeded our expectations. It felt like a home from home. We visited with our dog and a lovely touch was the dog basket with blankets, towels and treats. It was spotlessly clean and had all the little things that you seem to forget when going away for a few days (salt, pepper, cleaning products). The host was very attentive and sent us so much information beforehand (where to visit, eat, local shops etc.) The property was situated in a quiet area with a little pond opposite us, it was lovely to see the ducks plodding along throughout the day. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a few days relaxation, sight seeing and peace and quiet to give this property a go!

Absolutely stunning cottage and great pool and jacuzzi! A stunning peaceful location with great local pub and amazing walks and things to do (but you may need to travel a bit like we did to see the fantastic surrounding area) Highly recommended to others and we will be returning. wonderful. easy to get too. was a last minute due to the one we originally had booked cancelled on us due to being booked up. had everything we could possibly need if we needed it. ideal location, the agricultural inn is a minutes walk away and has great food and is dog friendly.

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

Beautiful cabin set in a lovely peaceful corner of Amanda & Kevin’s smallholding. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and welcoming and went the extra mile to help me with a surprise for my husband’s birthday!

Just back from a couple of nights stay at Low Moss. It lived up to expectations in every which way. Easy to find and clear directions given on the route from the main road. Perfect spot for couples to go and escape for a while. Kitchen has everything you could need and the living room is nice and cosy to sit on the sofa with the fire on either reading a book or watching some tv. The bed is huge and got some solid sleep in on it, and obviously the bath is an extra nice touch. We were lucky when looking to see the dates free that we went and we’ll be keeping and eye for the future as we’d definitely go back for another stay.

We had a lovely few days, the cottage is perfect for two, has everything you need and is very comfortable. The location is great as you can go on some good walks straight from the place and there are also nice amenities in Staveley. Would recommend staying here for a peaceful break in the Lakes.
