Cozy 2 bedroom home is located directly on the Kokosing river thought to translate from the Algonquin Indians and mean “River of the Little Owls.” The cabin is a short distance to Kenyon College, Apple Valley lake, Ohio Amish country and tons and tons of great parks, hiking trails, bike trails and hunting. We are pet friendly, dogs only. ($50 per stay, maximum 2 dogs).

The property owns river frontage to the Walhonding River as well as the historical White Woman’s Rock- that Mary Harris made famous. Enough acreage and privacy to avoid human interaction and unplug from the world for a while- yet you are only 3 miles from Coshocton’s Roscoe Village, great winery’s in the area and a short drive to Amish country

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place that is close to Mohican state park. You can expect to enjoy a quiet crackling of the fire with the sound of water coming from the creek that puts you in all of your surroundings, away from all the busyness of life. Besides the lovely stay here at the cottage, there is lots of fun thing to do with in 5-20 minutes away from your Cozy Cottage like Kayaking/tubing down the river or hiking back in to see some fantastic water falls.

While sipping coffee or cocktails on the deck you'll feel as if you are directly on the River. There is a beautifully landscaped bonfire area for nightly fires. You may even see Amish buggies stroll by some mornings. During your stay, consider taking the three rivers wine trail or spending the day in historic Roscoe Village.
