Amazing hosts.. and they make this place feel like home, on the lake. You’re going to leave wanting your own lake house, and for neighbors half this good. Beautiful spot on the lake with kayaks and a firepit right by the water. Had everything we needed and the hot tub melted the stress away.

We loved staying at Shelley’s beautiful oasis. The view was spectacular, so peaceful, the beach was steps away, you could hear the ocean and smell the salt air it was absolutely perfect. The space was beautifully decorated and so cozy, Shelley was amazing very responsive and friendly. It was the perfect spot for us to spend time while celebrating our daughter’s graduation from St. fX. We highly recommend staying here 5 star all the way.

Absolutely loved our stay! The accommodations were clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. It was clear they genuinely cared about our experience. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

From the moment we booked, the host stayed in contact with us and answered every question quickly. They made us feel at home and very welcomed! The house was just as in the photos but more beautiful in person. The property was beautiful both indoors and outdoors. It was quiet, peaceful and other houses were not close so lots of privacy. I highly recommend here. It is not too far from the town, restaurants, etc. Must have transportation. I would definitely book again if I come back to Antogonish!

Fun farmhouse, both historic (old wood floors) and nicely updated. Great kitchen with everything you would need to cook! There is a well-placed wooden sign on the road for the turnoff -- the house is located well off the road down a long driveway. Comfortable beds. We left a few items behind and the hosts found them and we picked them up on our way out of town. Sorry to put you to the trouble but thanks for making the extra trip! We really appreciate the fact you are open during the off season!

This cottage is in the woods in a very private, quiet area. It had a great deck to sit and enjoy the view, including rabbits in the yard. There are steps down to the waterfront. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would advise bringing whatever groceries you will need as there are not too many close by options for shopping. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We cannot recommend Kathryn and John’s home enough! I wish we could have stayed forever! The location is perfect- just steps from the water. The home was spectacular and well equipped for everything. The beds were very comfortable. The sheets and towels smelled fantastic! Great space for a family event! We had some car trouble while we were visiting and Kathryn and John did everything possible to assist us in getting the help we needed. They were wonderful hosts. I have stayed in dozens of Airbnb s over the years and this was one of my absolute favorites! Thank you Kathryn and John!

The Main View was a great stay for us and our friends. The house is exceptionally clean and well stocked with all the comforts of home! It is conveniently located in the town, while still having a fantastic view over the water, both from indoors, and out on the patio/firepit. We were fortunate to have sunny days to sit out and relax. We'd certainly consider going back sometime.
