The Oak Escape with Hot Tub & Stunning Country Views

Our small studio/House has been built to latest standards ensuring warmth and comfort during your stay. We have kept the pod as simple as possible making it ideal for couples and young families. The place has been fitted out with all the comforts of home with brands we all know and trust. The hot tub is here for you to enjoy as you wish, bathrobes and luxury White Company towels will keep you warm afterwards. 40 ins Tv with DVD and Roberts music system will help entertain on those cold dark winter nights when the views have been covered for the day. The shower room is stocked with everything you will need during your stay with a Mira shower to reinvigorate while your towel is warmed on the electric towel rail. The kitchen is compact but fully functioning with oven,fridge freezer and 2 ring hob top. The oven can also be used as a microwave. If coffee is your indulgence the Nespresso machine is there and fully stocked for you to sample the different flavours on offer. For the energetic guests we have 2 adult bikes located at the pod, please bring your own helmets! With our changeable weather you can decide to eat inside or out with the tables and chairs we have provided. The Weber BBQ is also in situation on the deck when required. Wireless charging is available along with a docking port for the iPhone with USB plugs available at the bedsides. Access to the Escape is located by our main drive. This is protected by an electric gate with key code ensuring safety for any little ones who like to wander! If we are not there on your arrival a key safe is located next to the Hot tub. Carrying on through to one of our Paddocks will bring you to your home for the time you have with us. Served by its own gravel road there is ample parking and turning available. Although the site of the house is private, we are generally around to answer any questions you may have. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this is the place to relax and unwind. There are miles of beautiful country walks that change with the seasons. Also of particular note is a proper local pub only a five minute walk away. We have tried to put everything we would want in a holiday stay into the house, however if something is not available please ask and we will do our best to provide.

Courtyard Cottage is a quintessential thatched, two bedroom homestay that has been carefully restored to provide a luxury retreat. Spacious & comfortable with open-plan lounge/ kitchen, stone floors, whitewashed walls and oak doors leading out to a sunny courtyard perfect for relaxing after a days exploration . The property is part of a 16th century former farmhouse, set in the centre of an unspoilt Somerset village, just a short walk to a gorgeous pub serving locally sourced food & drink.

Tucked away, 2 miles from Taunton, The Chalet Somerset offers a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. Enjoy a separate bedroom with ensuite, a modern kitchen and a cosy lounge designed for unwinding. Secure parking is provided via our electric gate. Step outside to a private deck, perfect for al fresco dining and wander into the orchard where a BBQ awaits. Pear Tree Cabin is located in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Ham in Somerset, sitting in the grounds of a seventeenth century thatched cottage on a quiet country lane surrounded by beautiful countryside. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

A picturesque oak barn, accomodation on the first floor, overlooking a lake, in a beautiful quiet countryside location, 5 mins from the M5, junction 26. No light pollution, great for star gazing. A perfect stop off on your way to Cornwall. Situated in a small gated community with many countryside walks and close to the small town of Wellington and Taunton. Local attractions include Sheppy’s Cider, West Somerset Steam Railway, Somerset Cricket Ground, Hestercombe Gardens, Knightshayes

Cosy cottage with large inglenook fireplace

This cottage is 300 years old and has a wonderful inglenook fireplace and old beams. There is a great village pub just 400 yards away, which is dog friendly. There are lovely country walks straight from the cottage. We are next door to the property which is semi detached. We will welcome you on arrival but then leave you entirely to enjoy your holiday. We are always on hand to offer advice and tips for your holiday. One well behaved dog is always welcome. We charge £30 for a dog please.

Dog friendly, detached annex, 7 mins from M5.

The Architect’s Chambers is a refurbished Architect’s Studio set privately in the grounds of our home, in the town of Wellington. This unique space offers fully fitted kitchen, a cosy snug area, spacious bedroom with Kingsize bed. Along with a shower room with large rainfall shower. Tucked away with private access there is ample street parking for multiple vehicles. A short walk from the town center and the stunning Wellington basins it’s a great base for exploring.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with private entrance and parking. Ideal base for a short break to Taunton and the surrounding area. Close to the train station, town centre and Somerset Cricket Ground. Fridge freezer, washer dryer and microwave/oven provided, hairdryer, smart TV WiFi and comfortable furnishings. There are 2 shops (Tesco & One Stop) nearby and we are about a 5 minute drive from the M5. Dogs may be considered 🐶

The Roost in the Blackdowns

The Roost is a modern self-contained loft with sofa bed and secure garage underneath, bordering pasture farmland. This peaceful small hamlet is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty without street lighting and with stunning views across the picturesque and hidden Culm Valley. There are country walks from your door, with pubs nearby. Dogs are welcome, but remembering that sheep and cows need to live in peace in the field right next door.
