Family and I enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Comfy cabin.

This place felt cozy and felt like home. Since we have little ones they loved the theater room. Watched lots of movies and lots of popcorn. Bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. This place is on top of our list for future getaways.

This cabin was very cozy and comfortable! Small but not cramped and perfect for a couple. The bathroom was especially nice - huge and well appointed. There are a few neighbors close by but we didn’t see or hear them once over our weekend stay. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay again!

My boyfriend, puppy and I really enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s beautiful cabin! The yard was great for our puppy to run around and enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed the bbq and it was a perfect way to spend an afternoon after a hike. The location is close to the village! Also the master bed was so comfortable. Overall it was a great stay at Sarah’s cabin!

We have stayed at Leslie’s beautiful cabin for years now; we love it more & more every time! Leslie is extremely accommodating & responds for whatever is needed. Thank you for an amazing stay as always!

When you step inside this quaint little cabin, you can’t help but feel right at home. We loved the open space of the living room and kitchen. After a day of hiking, the hot tub on the back porch was just what we needed to relax and unwind.

This place was beautiful, super clean, and really comfy. The game room was great to relax in and watch a movie, the hot tub was also a great touch. We had a great time as adults only, and would love to come here again with the kids. Really close to the lake and village as well.

My son and I have been visiting Idyllwild a few times a year since he was a young teen. We've stayed all over town, and we like Astrid's best so far. We came this time to lock ourselves in for the weekend of Alien Day (iykyk) to watch all of the movies. I chose this place because of the living room and TVs, and my son loved bringing his vinyl to spin. It was perfect for our niche trip. The photos don't do the place justice. It's cozy and interesting and filled with cool little details in each space. All of the instructions are clear, and Astrid is beyond helpful when answering ridiculous little questions. From the windows we saw deer families, chonky squirrels, and a very proud blue jay. At dusk, we heard the adorable clicks and commotion of resident bats. Astrid's place is perfect for families, couples, grown siblings. It's got great common areas and private rooms. A fantastic place that we will stay in again as soon as we have a chance.

Amanda was very responsive. Enjoyed our stay in her very peaceful and quiet home. Beds and living room furniture are extremely comfortable. It’s about a 16-20 minute walk into downtown Idyllwild. However if walking with kids or pets be mindful that there are no sidewalks. I would suggest only walk it in daylight. Town folk are extremely friendly and resourceful. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Dena, my family and I had an amazing weekend at the cabin, kids were entertained with all the toys and games inside. It did surprise up with snow so we got to use the sleds outside as well. The dogs had a great time too exploring the area. We will definitely book again. And that was very cool of you to decorate for my wife’s birthday. When it warms up we’re gonna use those lake passes you have.

Great location and host is quick to communicate. Booked last minute and they were fantastic.

I wish I could live in that cabin forever! They have everything you need and It’s exactly what you’d want if your goal is to get away from the city and live in nature. There was nothing better than sitting by that fireplace on a chilly night with a drink. 10/10 would stay again!

Had a great time staying here, the house was clean and as stated in the description. Brought our two dogs with us and they loved the spacious backyard. The hot tub was very clean and perfect to wind down after a day hiking. We used the kitchen during our stay and they had all items we needed for our cooking, made us feel right at home. Will definitely come back again.

This stay was everything we hoped for and needed. It was very peaceful. We definitely loved the location, we had everything we needed nearby. Very cozy cabin! Christopher was an amazing host! He is very responsive and friendly. We had a little hiccup with the jacuzzi cover and he was kind enough to respond quickly and stop by to help us with it. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone trying to escape reality and experience peace and tranquility!

Awesome stay! Extremely convenient for skiing/snowboarding. Loved not having to deal with parking or traffic. Will definitely come back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Lisa’s cozy cabin. Even though we booked just a few hours before our planned arrival, Lisa was accommodating and communicative. For nearby activities, we highly recommend the Suicide Rock hike via the Deer Springs Trail, as well as grabbing a bite at the Atomic Cow, which offers affordable eats like delicious burgers, chili cheese fries, and even Dole Whip. The rest of our time was spent relaxing in the cabin and soaking in the peaceful surroundings—it was the nice little escape from busy city life.

This house is Amazing! We love it. Robert is a good Host. He was kind and responded quickly!

Matt‘s house did not disappoint. We had plenty of parking for our four vehicles and check-in was a breeze with keyless entry. We walked in and, to be honest, the house was even nicer than the photos on the Airbnb listing. The kitchen was huge and had plenty of storage as well as a huge fridge/freezer for the food that we brought. The living room was cozy, and there was lots of seating for everybody. I don’t think we realized, when booking this, that the house is three levels. The basement level is the game room, but also has the two bunkbeds as shown in the photos. The downstairs leads out to the spa, which was great. Just a tip, be sure to turn the spa on quite early before you want to get in as it did take some time to heat up. All of our guests loved their rooms. Each space was decorated so thoughtfully. My husband and I stayed upstairs in the master bedroom (The Eagles Nest) and it was an amazing space with a really beautiful private bath. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our 3rd time staying at Matt's cabin. It never disappoints. Matt is responsive and super friendly. The cabin is always a clean, comfortable place to stay. It gets pretty cold in Crestline. When we stayed, the lows were in the high 20s, but with the heating provided and the cozy fireplace, we were VERY comfortable. The shower had GREAT water pressure and the cabin has an EXCELLENT water heater. The kitchen has refrigerator, oven, toaster, blender, utensils/plates and a pretty great stove top, so making a family dinner was no problem. I can see how some might say that the stairs to get up to the cabin can be challenge, but for us, it is doable and worth it for the privacy we got from the street (FYI we are in our mid 40s). This place feels like home as soon as you step into it. To be completely honest, I'd be really disappointed if Matt ever sold this place, because it is GREAT rent!... but on the other hand, I might consider buying it :)

Very impressed overall. You can tell Lisa takes pride in providing a welcoming, warm, and clean home to visitors. The place is just like the photos, and we felt like we were coming to a place that’s very well maintained, and just felt like there was a lot of a love and hard work put into it. Peaceful, cozy, and very clean. Loved that she had a personalized welcome message and snacks out, a binder that had very neat and clear instructions as well as lists of things to do and where to eat, and so nice that there were games and coloring books/crayons which were perfect for my young daughter. The place was perfect, and we had a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin during a winter storm! Despite the heavy snowfall, the cabin was warm, cozy, and impeccably clean. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. My son had an absolute blast playing in the snow, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to Snow Play, which made it even more convenient. The combination of a great location, excellent hospitality, and a comfortable stay made this trip memorable. We would definitely stay here again!

The Cozy Cabin is a perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway. My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and the place was perfect. It is close enough to town to grab some coffee or a bite to eat. We also enjoyed just sitting out on the back desk enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature and the wind blowing through the trees.
