If you are looking for a quiet place off the beaten path to unplug and get away from the rat race of life this is a perfect spot to do just that.

We just returned from the most outstanding stay at Castle Rock Lodge. My large group of 10 people, 3 generations ranging in age from 4 to 80 years, thoroughly enjoy themselves. From the gorgeous and comfortable cabin, to the waterfront with fire pit and small boats, to the vast woods with trails for adventures, no one wanted to leave. The setting was so serene and peaceful, we felt totally removed from the world (no worries, Walmart is 25min away). We truly hope to return to Castle Rock Lodge.

Great place to stay. Cozy cabin with privacy with plenty of trails to walk and a nice swim dock. will definitely return.

Really good place for relaxing. Cabin was very clean. Host Kelly is really good and friendly person. Hope will come back in the future.

This house worked out great for us. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. We put the grill to good use. Also appreciated tying our boat up at the private dock. Our afternoon guests had plenty of place to park their cars. We had a great stay at Lakeside cottage!

Awesome after Christmas getaway with our 4 adult children. Plenty of room to be together and apart. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen and plethora of towels! Old school fun with the many game choices. Beautiful sunrises over the lake and enjoyed numerous walks ON the lake. Will be sure to recommend to others looking for a lovely, comfortable stay.

From the beginning of booking to our stay, Jennifer was a fantastic host! The place was cozy and just what we needed for a winter getaway! Any issues that arose, Jennifer quickly got it handled and made our stay just what we hoped for. We can’t wait to come back and stay/visit in the summertime!

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the cottage. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and offering stunning sunset views of the pond along with kayaks to go out and enjoy! The cottage itself was cozy and clean and we felt at home! Darlene was welcoming and attentive ensuring everything was just right for our stay! I highly recommend this charming retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful stay! It was a bit chilly so we were able to enjoy the fire pit outdoors with the wood that was provided! I can’t wait to return and stay longer! We can clearly see why this cottage has so many positive reviews!!

Roman was an absolute top notch host! I travel often for work and leisure, this was by far one of my better experiences! Roman’s home is absolutely beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking! The beds were very comfortable and nice clean, fresh linens. The kitchen was very well stocked and organized! The living space was perfect for our family of five. And although we didn’t have a chance to use the fire pit, we look forward to returning to take advantage of that additional bonus outdoor area. Roman offered local recommendations for fun winter activities and was very responsive throughout our stay. This is a 10/10!!

The home was lovely and comfortable. There were seven of us and we cooked and ate breakfast every morning together. There was plenty of room. The backyard was right on the lake and was beautiful and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.
