We rented this place to be near our son and hoped to use the outdoor patio. it was too cold for them, although I sat out there. It was a fantastic location and we'd definitely consider it again if the kids are still living in the same area when we visit. It was roomy, comfortable had fabulous access to just about anywhere we wanted to visit. It was in a quiet space and a pleasant place to hang out. If you're a pet person, you'd probably love this rental, as well.

Thankful for this gem for our staycation while displaced due to our furnace giving out. Tamela was super communicative and supportive through the whole thing. Even gave up her secret bedding finds as the beds were SO comfy! Our kids loved the house as well, the front porch is so cozy and inviting and it felt like our home away from home. Thank you!

Enjoyed my time here! Lots of space and the fenced years was great for my little dog. Good location near downtown Ferndale on a nice, quiet street. I had some trouble getting into the house at first, but the host was very responsive and found a solution.

We stayed for a short weekend and the space was perfect. Very clean and exactly as described. It’s clear Caitlin takes pride in her property and guest experience. The park next door was great space for our dog to get a nice walk in as well. 10/10 would recommend. We will be staying there again during our next trip to Detroit!

We stayed here for a week with our baby. Love how family-friendly the hosts and space were. It’s peaceful, quiet, and cozy! The washer/dryer was especially helpful and worked really well. The location is great, we walked to the little downtown area every single day. The internet is on the slow side, so you might have a hard time if you’re working remotely and/or have video calls. Overall, we had an awesome stay and would definitely recommend this place.

We loved this place. Perfect location for fishing the Detroit River. Kal is an amazing host. We had everything we needed. Definitely will stay here again.

House is located in a quiet neighborhood, lots of space, adequate parking and had all the amenities we needed! Host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and will book again for future stays!

Osman’s place was perfect for what my family needed. It’s in a great neighborhood with any and everything we needed. The place was spacious, clean and had a modern feel to it. We all had a pleasant and comfortable stay over weekend. The customer service and communication he provided was impeccable. Would definitely recommend to any folks traveling to or through town!

The place is stunning, lots of privacy, place is fully fenced for your privacy, jacuzzi was something to have, during cold winter especially. I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

The place was spacious and had lots of fun games available. The little theater room was great and even had a game console with games available to use. Bathroom and kitchen were stocked with nice extra amenities (popcorn, snacks and a full bathroom kit in case you need it). Definitely plan on booking this place again when the pool opens!

The place was absolutely gorgeous! also the neighborhood was quiet that it was a nice change of pace for us to rest after working at a noisy environment. Felt like home 🏡

Beautiful clean home, beautiful yard and pool. Very spacious, fit our family of 6 very well, plenty of room. This is our 4th time renting from Colleen. Twice here and twice at the lake house. We will definitely rent from her again. She has beautiful homes. Thank you Colleen!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. Maylinn’s place was a perfect home away from home on a family trip to the Detroit area for Thanksgiving. The home is cute, with lots of nice updates, and was the perfect size for our family of three people and one dog. Everything was exceptionally clean — above expectations. Our 11 year old daughter enjoyed her room and thought the trundle was cool. Our dog loved having a yard to play in. We were glad we brought his tie out, as only three sides of the yard were fully enclosed. But it worked out just fine. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner and make breakfast. There was a washer/dryer. One thing to note is that there was no dining table. There is one eating bar with two bar stools and another table with two bar stools. We would definitely stay here again. Great place for the price and really wonderful to have our dog with us. (He does give a “snort” for not being allowed on the furniture. But we explained it was better than being left at home. He agreed.)

We needed to come in on short notice and Sam was more than accommodating. Our questions were answered promptly and the house was just as it was described. We loved the location and the pretty little yard. The house had everything we could want, was convenient to downtown Royal Oak, and we would definitely stay again.

Loved the stay… in town for our son’s wedding and Gabe’s house offered us a nice place to visit with our family… loved it!!!

I stayed at Katherine’s place with my boyfriend for a night and it’s so charming!! We had the best time, I’m only hoping to be able to go back sometime soon. The entire place is very moody. I couldn’t recommend it more!

The blue house was amazing! Daniel is an amazing host who’s willing to go the extra mile without even asking! He was very accommodating and the home and kitchen had everything that you needed!! I would 10/10 recommend his home again and even look forward to booking again! All the games and the beautiful backyard were great for the kids! I wish the weather was a bit warmer so we could’ve tried out the grill, but maybe next time! Thanks for the hospitality Daniel!

The Urban Cottage was a lovely get away for my husband, myself and our pup! The outdoor area is very spacious with areas for our dog to run loose! She loved it in the back open field area! We were introduced to the space and given keys by Steve. He was nice and informative. It is not self check in so you will tell them it ETA. Sarah was nice via messaging as well. You felt immediately comfortable! The space has a fun vibe and I enjoyed journaling and drinking tea out by the creek at the outdoor table. I found the cemetery very nice behind the property, there were people who use the trail back there, we didn’t explore it ourselves. The shower was small but nice and had shampoo, conditioner and soap. Everything was very clean. The Keurig was an added bonus and there were a lot of plates, bowls, utensils and cups! The bed was very comfy and the comforter was really warm! We had a great sleep! The photos are all accurate and it is decorated beautifully. Thank you for a wonderful stay! A+!
