Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

This beach studio is exceptionally nice! (& we've airbnb'd along Lake Erie before.) Although it has lots to offer, if I had to choose the best part it would be the views. (and that was really the purpose of this March trip) The large windows offer a panoramic expanse of Lake Erie & the extending pier. (It’s definitely worth getting up early to see the sunrise.) Seeing that view, we just had to get out & walk to the end of the pier, to watch the waves & the sea birds & enjoy the lake breeze. At the same time, the comfortable & convenient (& open) arrangement of the space kept us more than happy to spend hours inside. We fixed meals easily in the kitchen, then enjoyed them at the dining table with those beautiful lake views. The cute holiday themed decorations and thoughtful additions like cupcakes, snacks & coffee only added to the cheerful interior. Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND!!! We came down on a weekend where Lake Erie was struggling with the residual hurricane helene weather. Despite the fall back Morgan and Rachel were so accommodating, very responsive and helpful with our late check in and always got us what we needed in a timely manner. The Airbnb was close to everything and the had the best golf cart deals out of every place we went to. I can’t imagine staying somewhere else. Very impressed and we will be back soon!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Toledo House and will most definitely be booking again in the future! My only recommendation would be to put in the Airbnb description that there are private entrances and bathrooms for all units, as well as hot water. There was some confusion and I ended up reaching out to Skip for clarification before our stay. The location was great! The room was extremely clean and we heard no noise whatsoever from the neighbors. As I said, we will be staying here again!

Tracey is a great host . Her cottage is so cute, extremely clean and well maintained. The hot tub was perfect to relax in after a fun day sipping wine. We will be back!

My partner and I stayed for a long weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a big house, and while it’s on the “older” side, it was incredibly homey and cozy. There were blankets everywhere, plenty of spaces to relax and read a book! They thought of everything—from robes, slippers, hot tub towels to chargers in every corner! We didn’t cook much, but the kitchen was fully stocked. The backyard is cute, and the hot tub was lovely. Not the fanciest, but it got the job done. There’s absolutely nothing better than hearing the waves from the lake and seeing the sunsets/sunrises and stars at night. Super close to Point Pelee, which was a lovely day outing. The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly—great communication! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful stay!

Perfect location and close to restaurants in both Kingsville and Leamington

We felt like we were in a hallmark movie! Super cute home right on the lake. We could hear the water when the sliders were open and it was very quiet when they were closed. Home was comfortable and welcoming. Clean and had all the things we needed. The owner Jim is just a cool guy! We were in town for work and we really looked forward to coming home every night. Brian was very helpful and responsive and the view on the lake was amazing!

Ted's place was awesome! Excellent place to spend a relaxed weekend with family and friends. You feel at home. The house is really spacious, the rooms are impecable! We were a family of 10 and were really comfortable. Everything was provided by Ted, you really don't need to bring anything extra but your clothes and toiletry. You can fish from the porch right on the beautiful Lake Erie. Ted was very responsive and polite. I would definitely be staying at his place again.

Very clean and nice place. Hot tub was perfect and very clean also. Weather was not the best but we enjoyed a quick get away. Saw ove 300 white pelians land in the he water at sunset and that was amazing. We got a couple of pics. Was paid a visit also buy a Juvenile bald eagle. I love watching birds and the deck and window allowed for me to not miss much.

Nice condo for our stay visiting the area as my father was ill and did pass away right upon our arrival. The location was super quiet and so peaceful. Beautiful area by the lake. Thank you for the great stay

Had a great time at Albert’s place. Stunning views of Lake Erie and surrounding areas. The townhouse was well equipped and comfortable. Communication with the host was very easy, and the directions for finding the place were a great help. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay in Debra’s condo on PIB. Walk right out the back door to a gorgeous lakefront view. We used the cornhole boards and loved playing right in the nice sized common area by the water. Tom and Debra have gone at length to make the place feel like you’re staying with family, from a personal welcome note to snacks and drinks. We felt so at home. I’ve stay in other units in the building before but this has been the best. We love the location too, a short walk to downtown but just far enough to be peaceful and away from the chaos. The hotel next door also has a nice lakefront bar and late night food options. I’ll never stay anywhere else on the island if this unit is available! Thanks again for a great stay!

Paul is an excellent host. Provided necessary updates and reminders. Condo location is close to town but should probably still consider either drive your own car or rent a golf cart. Golf cart price is high, in my opinion, but Paul has nothing to do with that. Island was not crowded during our visit so we could have easily relied on our car and saved money on renting the cart. Overall, great experience and would recommend renting this condo. Nice set up with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and room to sleep 10 comfortably.

100% recommend Ian. Our planned family weekend a week ago was placed on hold for now due to weather. All transportation services to the island closed for safety. We are now rescheduling our trip for next season thanks to Ian being extremely genorous in making sure we get our family time!
