The cottage is self contained and is a well designed space that accommodates a queen sized bed, bathroom and a separate study and is set in an enchanting cottage garden. The well equipped kitchen is in a separate space though part of the cottage and is accessed by its own door from the decking, so you don't have far to go. In the morning lorikeets and other wild birds come to feed and you will be awoken to the romantic sound of birdsong. During spring and summer the garden is at its loveliest.

Each morning of your stay you can begin the day by enjoying a leisurely breakfast on one of the 3 decks, using the quality provisions left for you in the fridge. Later you can relax in the outdoor bath on the back deck and maybe see kangaroos or king parrots.

If you're looking for 5 star luxury, and marble bathrooms...then 'Patricia' isn't the place for you! What you will love is the welcoming and inviting spaces. My mum 'Patricia' was pretty quirky, and so is this whimsical place. 100 years old, and an Alphington institution...this adorable shopfront is one of the areas most loved and iconic buildings. The interior is warm and spacious, with plenty of room to rest or work, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Located on High St Northcote, known for its live music venues, bars, and restaurants. The apartment is on the 86 tram line. Croxton Station is also close by.
