Wonderful stay in a great, secluded location. Outstanding host who responded to our every needed. Spotless interior and great outdoor space which was loved by our young family. We especially appreciated the complimentary essentials and treats in the kitchen, and small but significant touches around the home such as fresh flowers.

The snug had everything we needed for a relaxing break. There were lots of extras such as prosecco and easter eggs. It is also dog friendly which is a big plus for us. We were lucky to see red squirrels and food is provided in the snug to attract them onto the decking area.

we throughly enjoyed our stay here. excellent location. cabin was clean, homely and spacious! would stay here again. only downfall would be the jets on the hot tub could do with being updated as some of them never worked so we had to take it in turns. overall a fantastic stay!

We stayed at Heidi’s Glamping Pod for two nights. The place was absolutely beautiful and so so clean! It was my boyfriend’s birthday whilst we were staying at the pod and Heidi provided a complimentary bottle of prosecco and put up some happy birthday banners! She also provided a welcome pack. These touches were amazing and were really appreciated. I will absolutely be recommending this to all of our family and friends and will certainly be back in the future. Thank you for such a lovely stay! :)

Fantastic stay at Barn Owl Lodge. Very peaceful, beautiful views and a wonderful hot tub. The lodge itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely like to stay again 🙂

Went on a couples trip with 8 people to Julia’s gorgeous place. Was everything and more we could’ve hoped for. The pictures do not do the view justice!!! Very clean and well equipped, was so memorable.

A hidden gem tucked away in peaceful surroundings – The Burrow was the perfect escape. Surrounded by beautiful, tranquil scenery, it had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The decor was gorgeous, with thoughtful finishing touches that made it feel extra special. The facilities were great and we had everything we needed. We especially loved stargazing from the hot tub – a real highlight of our stay. It was the ideal base for scenic walks and exploring the local area and the Lake District. Kate was a fantastic, friendly host who made sure we had everything we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Burrow and we will definitely be back! Thank you Kate.

We had a great stay which we booked at fairly short notice but it was perfect for our requirements. The accommodation was spacious and the facilities for the dog were brilliant - enclosed outdoor spaces with a grassy area accessible from the lounge area. The beautiful cake, Prosecco , chocolate and treats for the dog were a lovely touch too. Thank you. We will be looking forward to returning to your property and the area as soon as possible. Would highly recommend this excellent property in this wonderful part of England.

After reading previous reviews, we came to Herdy Lodge with high expectations and I must say even these were exceeded massively! The location is beautiful, both the farm itself and the surrounding area. The lodge was everything we could want, spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Hats off to Alison and Andrew, they really were fantastic hosts. From fresh farm eggs and goodies on arrival to bring super accommodating with any and all requests. I cannot rate them highly enough. Thank you for the most wonderful stay we would love to return when the weather is more on our side!

We stayed three nights at the Dinnings Lodge. Upon arrival the reception called us to check our arrival time with the keys ready. It was such a smooth check in, we didn’t require any support throughout our stay as everything is signposted and amenities are great! What a beautiful house, super clean inside, lovely decor, we were truly sad to leave. Our kids 10 & 5 enjoyed the secluded garden, it’s full of wildlife, rabbits literally on the door step. Play park was also great and the woodland walk is just amazing, we saw deer! The location is spot on, easy to commute and as we had an EV car, Tesla supercharger is 5 mins away. The house itself has an underfloor heating, it’s so cosy and the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. Beds are comfy, modern throughout. The caravan site is so quiet, well maintained. Thank you for such amazing stay and lovely memories.

Helen kindly upgraded us to their larger accommodation as it was empty and we were cycling the C2C and it had been a cold and drizzly day so she took pity on us! Helen was very helpful letting us know the best places to pick up food en route and even offered to pick up some heavy stuff for us during her shop. Thank you Helen for being so thoughtful!

Very beautiful and clean holiday home. Everything available that you need for a peaceful stay, very beautiful and quiet location with a beautiful seaview. Safe holiday park. Easy to get shopping, fuel etc,. Highly recommend, especially as Lyn is a great host, provided helpful instructions, really thankful to her help from check-in to checkout.

We've had a lovely short break at The Snug & our first time using Airb&b. Tom & Dawn have made the snug home from home thinking of all the little extras which make such a difference. From the welcome pack, to towels for the dog. The snug is immaculate & everywhere is so clean. We found the area nice and relaxing and not far to walk or drive to other areas. The communication between Tom & Dawn is excellent where they are responsive and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend to others and would return as we just wanted to press the pause button & relax which we were certainly able to do so thank you for making our stay relaxing. Colin & Julie

We had a fantastic few days away at the Maple Pod and absolutely loved it. The lodge was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The surroundings were stunning – peaceful countryside views, fresh air, and the charm of being on a working farm really made it special. Waking up to the sounds of nature was such a treat. Lucy was a wonderful host – welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape.

Lovely cabin, exactly as described. Hot tub heated on arrival which was perfect. No welcome gift, which was described in check in and always had previously at lodge stays which was a shame considering it was Xmas. Perfectly clean and essentials such as salt & pepper provided. Lots of cooking utensils which was great too. Easy to get to and perfect location!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

Very modern and clean van. Great location right on the beach and very accommodating host, leaving tea, coffee biscuits etc. Would recommend to anyone and was really impressed with how nice the caravan was. Thanks for having us!

Lovely caravan, in a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. Perfectly located close to Alnwick, Alnmouth, Bamburgh etc. Will be back.

John's caravan was lovely, amazing location right on the cliff front with fantastic views of the sea. The place felt home from home, with lovely little touches that made it feel warm and cosy. The caravan park itself had plenty to do and we made use of the swimming pool which was free to use, you just need to book.

Lovely host, helped out when required for extending stay. Very helpful. Will book again :)

Had a lovely weekend at the cabin for my birthday. Loved the rustic theming and decor. Was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast on the veranda in the sun and time in the Hot tub was an absolute treat. Perfect location both on the park and for exploring the local area. Alnwick castle and Lillidorei was a great day out. Also enjoyed Northumberland zoo literally down the road. Nice quiet site but little extras for the kids such as playpark, inflatable slide and small arcade to keep them entertained. Only downside was we hadn’t booked to stay longer. Would recommend to anyone looking to stop in the area and we will definitely be coming back at some point. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
