Farm holiday in our sweet casita

Welcome to Quinta da Coruja, a small organic farm situated among the hills of the southern Alentejo. We offer a relaxing holiday in the countryside of Portugal, surrounded by peaceful nature where you get the opportunity to experience the daily life on a farm. We have goats, horses, cats, chickens and dogs living on the farm. We produce our own cheese. Welcome to join us for the daily goat walks! There is lots of nature to explore in the area and you can find signposted hiking trails nearby.

Willkommen in der "Quinta Rústica": unserem gemütlichen traditionellen Landhaus in der Natur! Ob für Urlaub oder Workation – unser 2. Zuhause ist unser Lieblingsort dafür. Genießt in unserer Ruheoase mit viel Liebe eingerichtete Zimmer und einen schönen Außenbereich mit einer großen Holzveranda und einem Mini-Pool im Sommer (1,5m x 1,5m x 0,8m). Wer einen ruhigen Platz zum Arbeiten sucht, ist hier genau richtig: 2 gut ausgestattete Arbeitsplätze und High Speed Internet warten auf dich!

Historische Windmolen - kalm, uniek en romantisch

Uniek verblijf in een gerenoveerde windmolen uit 1753, gelegen op ons 9 hectare grote landgoed in het zuiden van de Alentejo. De oude graanmolen is nu een sfeervol en comfortabel onderkomen voor gasten die op zoek zijn naar rust, natuur en een vleugje geschiedenis. De molen biedt: * Een knusse slaapkamer * Een gezellig woongedeelte * Een moderne badkamer * Prachtig uitzicht over het land en het recent aangelegde voedselbos * Privacy, ideaal voor koppels, schrijvers of onderzoekers

The House In the Hillsides

A traditional Portuguese cottage set in the mountains. Immersed by nature and flowing rivers. Set on the border of Aljentejo and the Algarve, the house is 20 minutes from Messines and less than 40 minutes from Portugal’s stunning beaches and Faro airport. If being in nature is your thing then the cottage is for you. We can happily suggest wild swimming spots and the best local hikes. Across the road is a beautiful river you can dip into on those hot Portuguese days!

Casas Velhas - Casa da Taipa

On Monte do Beringelinho, an isolated hamlet in the middle of the Alentejo plain, Casa da Taipa was the home of the owners of the old Beringelinho tavern. The house Casa da Taipa was completely remodelled, trying to preserve the original rusticity of Alentejo houses, adding the comfort provided by current materials, equipment and construction methods. The rammed earth wall that adorns the kitchen is a good example of this.

Monte de São Jorge

O Monte de São Jorge é uma propriedade com 1 hectare situada no baixo Alentejo a 1 Km da aldeia dos Palheiros e a 5 Km da vila de Ourique. Com forte ligação à equitação o monte possui um picadeiro e cavalos. No monte podemos desfrutar da calma do campo, da paisagem, de soberbos pores-do-sol e incríveis céus estrelados. A oeste podemos usufruir da costa alentejana, e a sul o algarve onde encontramos magníficas praias.
