We enjoyed the spacious cabin. We had 6 adults staying and we were very comfortable with room to spare. The kitchen was well stocked for everything we needed and the chocolate chip cookie dough was a special treat!! Greer is a beautiful place. The leaves were starting to turn and the elk were roaming. The pond right next to the cabin is awesome. They have plenty of chairs around the pond. When we decide to visit Greer again we'll be contacting Chris & Kate to see if this cabin is available.

Hays Hideaway was great! My family enjoyed the space and there were so many amenities available, we felt right at home. Instructions for arrival were clear and very helpful. The location is close to town but also tucked away, providing privacy and tranquility. It was clean and cozy, would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed this sweet cozy place. the place was exactly as described. the hosts communicated very clearly and friendly. Great porch views and I loved the location. I would definitely stay here again!

Our three-generation family occupied both Gatehouse and Bunkhouse dwellings, where we enjoyed Christmas cheer and feasting. Our thoughtful hosts made our stay uber-comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens, comfy bedding, good hot showers, great spaces to gather--everything as described. But most memorable and utterly out of the ordinary was Alex's guided tour of the quarters still remaining on the storied historic L.C. Ranch. Some buildings dating to the early 1800s, with furnishings lovingly assembled over decades by the family of the current stewards (and much left in place from previous centuries), made for a great place to unwind and explore the astonishing surroundings. Gila Cliff Dwellings and Catwalk, like this precious time capsule, are not to be missed!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! From the very beginning, the host was incredibly responsive and polite—such a pleasure to communicate with. The cabin itself was perfect for our group of family and friends, especially those with kids. It had a warm, welcoming feel and was thoughtfully set up for families. The open kitchen made cooking and hanging out so easy and fun, and the big windows brought in tons of natural light and lovely views. We spent lots of time out on the amazing porch, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The nearby stream was a hit with the kids, and they absolutely loved visiting the friendly neighbor horses. (The animals really made it extra special!) We also made a quick trip to Quemado Lake—only about 40 minutes away—and had a blast there too. All in all, this cabin is a perfect spot to relax, reconnect, and let the kids run free in nature. We’d definitely recommend it to other families looking for a cozy and fun escape!

Great place to stay while visiting family in the area. Clean, with plenty of space and all modern convenience one would expect. We will return!!

This is our third year coming here with the family! Amazing place amazing location simply amazing! My kids love it and we are already planning for next year!
