Wastwater shepherd's hut with lake views.

One of two shepherd's huts located on our traditional working hill farm in the stunning Wasdale valley. The huts have everything you need to enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of the world. Wastwater shepherd's hut comes complete with a double bed, kitchen area with induction hob and a bathroom with shower. Perfect place to start numerous walks from the doorstep including many of the popular Wainwright hills such as Scafell Pike and Illgill Head. Easy access to the lake for kayaking etc.

The Barn, Mosser - For 2 adults and 1 child.

The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

Eskbank Studio

A cosy & romantic couple getaway in the heart of the Lake-district, perfect as a peaceful escape from our busy day to day lives. Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

A spectacular modern new build open-plan cottage incorporating features of an original 19th century stables offering spectacular uninterrupted panoramic views over Kentmere towards Windermere and the Langdales from its elevated farm location. An excellent base for walking, cycling or touring in the Lake District National Park or the Yorkshire Dales National Park or for just relaxing in delightful surroundings both within the property or in its open-aspect garden

Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.

The Workshop - A cosy one bed studio

Welcome to our cosy studio barn conversion, The Workshop. Nestled in the heart of the North Lakes, just outside beautiful Keswick, The Workshop sits adjacent to our family home, but is totally private and detached, with dedicated access and its own parking space. It's the perfect quiet, snug retreat for those looking to have a great hiking base in the Lake District, a romantic weekend away, or a homely space for individuals to reflect and relax.

3. Moss end pods - pod 3

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The perfect base for walking or biking the area or visiting the local towns and amazing sights or to just stop and relax and refresh. This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.

Red Stables is the ideal location for a peaceful getaway for you and your partner. It was converted from old farm buildings into a lovely cottage that is comfortable, warm and cosy. There are wonderful views - including from the hot-tub! The cottage is ideal placed for visits to the Lake District, The Solway Coast, the historic city of Carlisle, the Scottish Border and Hadrian's Wall.
