Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Teresa. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns gefühlt wie alte Freunde. Das gemütliche Haus, die persönliche Einrichtung - aber vor allem Teresas Gastfreundschaft haben uns wie zuhause fühlen lassen. Als Willkommensgeschenk gab es ein wunderbares artisan-Brot, am nächsten Tag brachte uns Teresa selbst gemachtes Quitten Gelee und frische Eier bekamen wir auch. Morgens auf der Terrasse zu frühstücken war ein wundervoller Start in den Tag. Und die Kinder hatten Mega Spaß mit all den Tieren, vor allem die 3 Katzen und der süße Hund haben es ihnen angetan.

Suzete is a delightful host, attentive and interesting. Her place is rather new & comfortable, the bedroom/ full private bath combination is perfect for 2 or 2+child. The balcony is very nice & convenient. The WiFi is strong enough for streaming. The location is central but quiet. Her languages are Portuguese & German but can get across with a mix of Portuguese & Spanish. Parking is available next to the building or immediately across the street. Sagres and surrounding areas are a "must visit" for anyone wanting to see south Portugal.

Casa rustica e tranquilla, nella campagna, a 5 minuti di auto dal paese e dalla spiaggia. Il posto è estremamente tranquillo e rilassante. La casa è davvero grande e spaziosa, più di quanto ci si aspetterebbe dalle foto. Anche il bagno è comodo e molto ampio. Casa davvero particolare: certo non elegante, ma funzionale ed accogliente. L'unica pecca è la piscina, che è più piccola di quanto le foto suggeriscano. Ci torneremmo sicuramente.

We absolutely loved our stay. Inge and Theo have done a fantastic job at creating a little haven in the hills. Our accommodation was stylish and felt very in keeping with traditional Portuguese dwellings. The gardens included pomegranate, peppercorn, olive, orange, avocado and almond trees and a range of fresh herbs. Our villa had two terraces and it's own outdoor kitchen area (as well as a well equipped indoor kitchen) and easy access to a shared beautiful large stone swimming pool and sauna. There are around 4 other properties to stay at in the grounds and provision for camper vans. We didn't hire a car and found getting around easy. There are buses to Lagos every 30 minutes (on week days) from the local village which is a 20 minute walk and we walked to the beach which is around an hour away. Taxi's were relatively inexpensive. At the time of writing it would cost between 10 and 14 Euros from Lagos to the villa. Inge was always very helpful if we needed anything.

L’appartement est bien placé. Il est agréable avec un grande chambre à l’étage et des parties communes au rez-de-chaussée bien équipées, claires et avec de l’espace. La mère de David s’est occupé de l’accueil de façon très sympathique :). Je recommande.

Liz est très accueillante et très serviable. la chambre est très agréable et la possibilité de s'asseoir dans le jardin est un vrai plus lorsqu'il fait beau.

Quinta David surpassed all of our expectations. After a very brief stay in Lagos, we decided we wanted a much quieter town and Alvor ticked all the boxes for us. We are so glad we booked Quinta David. The apartment is beautiful with everything you could need for a stay. Daniels communication was excellent. The gardens and Pool were so peaceful and we even had the lovely company of the two very well behaved dogs and cats who would greet us everytime we came back. The location is excellent and only a short walk to the main restaurants and beach. Across the road is a supermarket and a few cafes. We will be staying here again for sure!

Wir übernachteten Ende September 1 Woche bei Luisa und empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall zu 100%. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und komfortabel. Der Ort ist ruhig, sauber, mit einer schönen Terrasse und verfügt über alles Notwendige. Das Einzige was ich verbessern würde, ist der Druck des Wassers in der Dusche. Luisa und Ihre Eltern sind super nett und sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Menschen. Kurz gesagt können wir die Unterkunft zu 100 % empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Luisa und ihre Eltern!

We stayed here for a 10 day holiday. It was very easy to find from Faro airport, you definitely need to hire a car to stay here though. Efrain greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and responsive throughout giving us local recommendations of restaurants / beaches. Efrain was having some work done at the front of the property which he had forewarned us about before we arrived, but it didn’t disrupt our stay at all. The place is peaceful, quiet and the private pool and gardens were lovely. The location is great for towns and beaches such as Alvor and Portimao which are only a 15/20 minute drive away. The bed was super comfy and the local supermarket was also a short drive away. There are quite a few dogs in neighbouring houses which can bark quite late at night. Also an oven would have been nice to have, and a TV to watch the Euros! Otherwise, I would 100% recommend this place for a relaxing holiday. Brilliant value for money considering the private pool all to yourself!

Foi impecável. Como estava imenso frio, o Cláudio teve o cuidado de deixar um aquecedor no quarto. Só faltaram 2 copos de vinho e gel de banho na wc. =P

The best spot we could’ve picked in Lagos! Everywhere was walkable from the home, we had no struggles getting around town or to the beaches. Great restaurants were right around every corner, though if we needed to uber anywhere it was no trouble at all. The hosts were very responsive and extremely friendly. Someone waited for us as we got there to show us the place and explain locking/unlocking the doors to the home. There was a guide book inside with things to do and recommended restaurants that came in handy. WiFi worked perfectly. We have nothing bad to say about this spot! If we ever return we hope to stay here again! *Note it was a tad musty due to the recent weather but there was a dehumidifier that was very helpful, we’d empty it out once a day or so once it was full. Also shower was a bit smaller but not an issue for us.

Wir hatten 2 schöne Wochen in der süßen Unterkunft von Laura. Man hat alles was man braucht und das Bett ist sehr gemütlich. Geweckt wird man von Vogelgezwitscher, Hahn Krähen und Sonne im Gesicht! Wir mochten die Natur um uns herum sehr, sowie die Stille und die Tiere :) Laura war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit! Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen!

Inge and Dougal were perfect hosts - friendly, helpful and went over and above to make us feel welcome. The sauna and a dip in the pool was a wonderful way to relax after a busy day surfing! We’ll definitely be back 😊

I had the most lovely experience staying here, I was so well taken care of by the onsite host and homeowner, Maria! Nuno was very responsive and helpful as well, helping with a bit of necessary translation between Maria and I 😂 Maria told me over a coffee that she has owned the home for 20 years, in this beautiful peaceful village of Ferragudo. The house is large and immaculately clean, with incredible views of the water. In the listing, there are no photos of the room so I didn't quite know what to expect! Well I was so happily surprised by the lovely, airy, spacious room, with the same amazing view and a very large closet and great A/C. The bathroom I think is technically shared, but I never found it occupied. It's also spotless! The location is right next to bustling Portimao and it's a short drive to Carvoeiro and Praia do Marinha. If you're looking for a tranquil, peaceful leg on your trip through the Algarve, please don't hesitate to book here. You won't regret it! ☺

I had a great stay at Maria’s place in Lagos. The apartment was exactly as advertised — clean, comfortable and in a great location, close to everything I needed. Maria was a wonderful host: very friendly, welcoming and always quick to respond.

Ostello davvero molto accogliente e tranquillo, abbiamo dormito nella stanza famigliare e ci siamo trovati molto bene!

Super nette Eltern, die in dieser Zeit auch im „Nachbarshaus“ waren. Sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und liebevoll. Wir haben das sehr genossen, dass sie auch noch eine zeitlang dort waren. War schön. Toll auch, dass von der Unterkunft so viel zu Fuss erreichbar war. Auch der grosszügige Umschwung, den wir bei Sonnenschein nutzten zum Frühstücken und erholen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Vielen lieben Dank für diese schöne Zeit!

Super séjour chez Frank! Sa femme et ses filles ont été très accueillantes. Le logement était super et correspondait à nos attentes. Le rooftop pour regarder les étoiles était un vrai plus. Nous avons adoré la compagnie des animaux☺️ Petit bémol pour la douche, compliqué de régler la température de l’eau.
