The absolute perfect place for a little family getaway. Loved all the beach front there was, it was so fun walking our dogs down to the water.

Loved the space. Perfect for what we needed and dog friendly! It was great for what we needed and we would stay here again.

You cannot beat the views at this place! It was absolutely gorgeous! If you forget anything, this place will have it. Very cozy cabin vibes. Gas station super close by and ice cream 😆 Beds were comfortable, I have a bad back and I woke up with no back pain the whole weekend which is rare! If you plan on grilling, make sure you know how to use a charcoal grill, if not stove and oven work great. We came early October and it was a little chilly but the heat kicks on super quick in the cabin. Would love to come back in the summer to be able to enjoy swimming in that lake!

We stayed for a long weekend so we could hang out with family and attend our nephew's graduation from NMU. Unfortunately, it was early May so couldn't enjoy the lake other than staring longingly while drinking coffee on the deck, but it is gorgeous and makes me want to come back in the summer! Other than that, the location was exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of space for everyone. We made breakfast for eight every morning without issue. The long dining table was perfect for all of us to sit together to eat. It was also an excellent home base while we explored the area, chasing waterfalls, wandering around downtown Marquette, and dining at the nearby Brownstone Inn. Like I mentioned above, we are seriously considering coming back when the weather is more summer-like so we can take advantage of the lake and kayaking the nearby rivers, plus all that nearby Munising has to offer.

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful log-style cabin on the edge of Lake Superior. The craftsmanship of the cabin is impressive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Each morning, We woke up to breathtaking views of the shimmering water, which was a truly magical way to start the day. The peacefulness of the lake and the surrounding nature made it the perfect place to unwind. We spent countless hours simply relaxing in the back room, soaking in the serene landscape. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway surrounded by the beauty of Lake Superior. I can’t wait to come back!

The Airbnb was a charming place to stay. We stayed for our son's graduation from NMU. we had a short ride to the dome for the ceremony. We brought our older son's siblings and our grandchildren it was spacious for all of us . Had blast outside gathering around the fire, enjoyed the wonderful llake veiw.

Of cabins such as this it is often said, “Once you’re here you won’t want to leave.” Reason number one is that it’s an extremely clean, well-kept, and comfortable cabin. The sort of place you feel good about returning to at the end of the day. The second reason is the washboard and potholed Mirror Lake Road. Driving out and back in once a day is more than enough.

Wished I stayed more days. Lovely place and lots of things to do around. Very good restaurants as well The Breakwall had the best breakfast!! Thank you for hosting us Leslie!

James was courteous to ensure we had good directions and able to find his place prior to arrival. His place was as stated and was pleasantly a very quiet restful place for our stay.

We enjoyed our time in the north woods. Beautiful views from the decks. The house was well kept, very comfortable accommodations, and well stocked with pots/pans/utensils, as we prepared all our own meals. Did not use grill, but propane was available. Wifi met everyone's needs. Would stay again.

A beautiful, peaceful spot on Lake Superior. Perfect for a quiet getaway in the beautiful UP fall weather. Easy access to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Munising, Marquette, and other local sights within a short drive. Erin was a fantastic host, providing all the recommendations and amenities that we needed, and great instructions for in-cabin amenities. Highly recommend this beautiful spot to base your UP trip. We could have stayed on the beach for hours and hours and hours soaking in the beauty of the North.

Thanks Leslie for a wonderful stay. The house was great, kids loved the bunk beds, the beach was amazing with soft sand (even took a dip in the second half of October!). The kitchen was well appointed, the house clean and the view from the living room post card worthy!

Went with 12 friends, and it was a perfect weekend! You can watch the water from the porch, and the open layout of the house accommodated our large group. We loved walking on the beach in the mornings and watching the sunset there at night. We went to sable falls one day then drove about an hour to the pictured rocks trails the next. We did the 10 mile hike, and it was beautiful. This house is in a great location for views, hiking, and spending sweet time with friends. Definitely recommend!

We had to change our booking very last minute due to some issues at another place, and Erin was quick to respond to our request to book her home. She sent many local dining and activity recommendations, made check-in and check-out super smooth, and left easy modes of communication to make sure we could reach her with any needs or concerns. The house was roomy and easily accommodated our party of 10. The kitchen and dining room are big and made for nice meals together. Same for the living room — plenty of seating for us all with beautiful views across Au Train Lake. All the beds and bedrooms were comfy and clean. It was really nice to have 3 full bathrooms, too. The house was easy to find and close to a lot of great restaurants and awesome outdoor adventures. I highly recommend this home and we’d definitely stay here again!

Nice place to stay and have some really good time

The house worked perfectly for our snowmobile group of 4 couples! Very spacious- plenty of room to hang out all together, and the lower level living room was a nice bonus. The huge mudroom was perfect for all our gear and easily accessible from the driveway where we parked our snowmobiles overnight. Plenty of parking too- all 4 trucks and trailers fit nicely. The house itself is very nice and clean, and the winter view of the lake is beautiful! Convenient location 1/2 mile from general store with gas, and very close to the trails. Highly recommend and hope to be back someday!

The location was absolutely fantastic! A nice quiet beach front home, where you could practically have the beach and lake to yourself. It was a great spot for sunsets and sunrises. The house had plenty of room for our 5 kids and 6 adults for sleeping and hanging out when we were not on the beach or in the nearby towns. Great location, clean (especially for a Beach House!), and the host was very responsive. We would recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice quiet place on the beach or looking for a place to explore the UP.
