We decided to go away over the new year and chose Kristine and Hans place in Norway What a great choice ! Kristine and Hans where great and very accommodating and could not do enough, they kept us informed about everything all the way We had the best holiday ever, we had everything we could wish for, the northern lights and a ton of snow We were snowed in on the last day and Kristine and Hans let us stay a extra night as we could not travel They where the perfect hosts and we will be stopping here again without any hesitation Thanks you both

Fantastiskt stuga som har allt man behöver, fina utsikter och nära till allt. Toppenvärd som alltid finns tillgänglig. Kommer definitivt tillbaka i framtiden.

A beautiful spot tucked in one of the most stunning fjords. If there had been more snow, it would’ve been a backcountry skiers paradise. That being said we still found some great skiing not far from the house. Egil is an awesome host and I would love to come back and visit in the summer and again in the winter (hopefully with more snow). Worth a stay if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to vacation.

I had an exceptional stay at this accommodation. The location is perfect, offering stunning views, and everything you need is conveniently close by. The house owner is incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The living room is wonderfully cozy, furnished with great taste, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. The space is also very spacious and fully equipped, providing all the comfort and enjoyment you could ask for. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the home matches the photos exactly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already considering returning for another stay in the future. Highly recommend.

Dette var andre gang vi besøkte Moon Valley Lodge, og det var en glede å komme tilbake! Etter at vi trivdes så utrolig godt i fjor, var det et enkelt valg å legge årets teambuilding-samling her igjen. Huset er romslig, rent og godt utstyrt – perfekt for både arbeid og avslapning. Ida, verten vår, var like imøtekommende og hjelpsom som sist, og sørget for at alt gikk knirkefritt. Den vakre beliggenheten og de fredelige omgivelsene gir en fantastisk ramme for både kreativitet og ro. Å avslutte kveldene i den varme stampen, med utsikt opp mot stjernehimmelen, var en opplevelse vi virkelig kan anbefale! Vi anbefaler Moon Valley Lodge på det varmeste og ser frem til å komme tilbake igjen!

Fantastic location and lovely place to stay. Well equipped with everything you need. The views from the house were breathtaking. Thoroughly recommended.

we had a great time staying at Arilds . house is well equipped , clean, warm. enjoyed sauna in the evening , had a swim in a sea . Views are just breathtaking. cought few fish of the jetty. Rented a big boat for a couple of days . boat is in very good condition, reliable good on fuel . hope to be back soon . 5 🌟

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in malerischer Umgebung. Das Haus bietet einen großartigen Blick auf den Fjord und ist weit genug weg von Wasser und Straße sodass auch kleine Kinder friedlich spielen können. Es ist gibt 3 Etagen und zwei Bäder. Die Zimmeraufteilung ist gut durchdacht. Das Grundstück ist groß und die Außenanlagen (Grill, Panorama-Sauna und Jacuzzi, Sitzgelegenheiten) eine tolle Ergänzung. In der Küche gibt es alles was man braucht. Außerdem diverse Spiele für Groß und klein für Regentage. Direkt hinter dem Haus gibt es einen schönen Wanderweg auf den Berg und auch in der Umgebung diverse Möglichkeiten die Gebirgswelt zu erkunden. Die Einkäufe können mit dem Auto und 5 Minuten Fahrzeit erledigt werden. Der Syltefjord war für uns nicht sehr Fischreich, dafür aber der nahegelegene Syvdefjord. Hier gab es auch täglich Schweinswale zu beobachten und auf dem Abendlichen Heimweg haben sich Rothirsche mit Kälbern auf den Wiesen sehen lassen. Wir hatte eine großartige Zeit.

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

Turfølget vårt besto av to familier med fem barn, og på det meste var vi ni personer. Flott hus med tre etasjer og en stor veranda - og med absolutt alt vi trengte. Det eneste som var nødvendig å ta med selv var sjampo og balsam (og andre personlige velværeartikler selvfølgelig). Vi satte ekstra stor pris på grillen og utepeisen/pizzaovnen, at det var tilgjengelige leker til barn i alle aldre og at det var mulig å lade elbiler. Vaskemaskin og tørketrommel satte vi også stor pris på som småbarnsforeldre. Fikk generelt raskt svar på det vi lurte på. En kort biltur unna sentrum i Ulsteinvik med et stort utvalg av butikker.

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!

Miejsce jest naprawdę godne polecenia! Dom zaprojektowany i wykonany z wielkim kunsztem. Naturalne materiały we wnętrzu pięknie nawiązują do widoków za oknami. Wyposażenie też bardzo gustowne. Byliśmy z zaprzyjaźnioną rodziną, mieliśmy wspólnie wyjątkowy czas. Każdy z nas wspomina ten wyjazd jako najlepszy w życiu. Poza samym domem okolica jest piękna. Podczas całego pobytu każdego dnia zwiedzaliśmy nowe miejsca. Piękny kraj, bogaty w niesamowite krajobrazy, które zabierają dech w piersi. Myślimy o ponownym pobycie. Łóżka były bardzo wygodne, pościel jak w najlepszych hotelach. Wygodny stół (w 8 osób było nam bardzo wygodnie)i dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Codziennie gotowaliśmy pyszne dania podziwiając widok gór za oknami. Niesamowite przeżycie. Siłownia dobrze wyposażona, piękne pokoje do wypoczynku. Było dużo lepiej niż się spodziewaliśmy! Kontakt z Ove był bardzo dobry, jest bardzo uprzejmym i pomocnym gospodarzem. Podpowiada najlepsze miejsca do zobaczenia. Na nic nie można narzekać!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ole’s place. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was very friendly and responded quickly, providing all the information we needed. The overall experience was smooth and pleasant. We truly recommend this place to others! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Merete and Jesper’s beautiful home. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we felt at home right away. You can really tell how much thought and care has gone into making it such a special place. This stay was a real highlight of our trip—we’d love to come back. Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt - alles entspricht den Fotos. Die Hütte ist groß, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet mit toller Lage und einem wundervollen Blick in die Berge. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Hot-Tub ist noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem I - wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

An absolutely amazing place to stay - the easiest 5-star review I’ve ever given! Breathtaking views from this beautiful and secluded cabin. The hot tub and fire pit are wonderful and the entire property is gorgeous, just like you can see in the photos. Two things to be aware of: 1) It’s a 3-4 min hike down to the cabin from the road where you park, but the hosts provided clear instructions for where to park and were super helpful in bringing our luggage down and back up during check-in and check-out. 2) There is another cabin right next to this one which the hosts also rent out. During the weekend that my wife and I were here, there was nobody staying in the other cabin so the area was a private oasis for us. Worth keeping in mind though that you’ll be sharing the space with others a bit though if anyone is staying in the other cabin. It’s a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to the photos in the listing. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and speak good English. 5/5!

Fint opphold i flott hytte. Tydelig rutiner for bruk og enkel kommunikasjon. Vi hadde ei veldig fin langhelg her med gode skimuligheter.

Helt nydelig hytte, svært godt utstyrt og i vakre, fredelige omgivelser. Kristina som vert var helt supert, med nyttige instruksjoner og svært enkel innsjekking. Hytta er oppvarmet til gjester kommer, noe som ble ekstra satt pris på 🫶🏼 10/10 opphold!
