I would 100% recommend this property if you want peace and quiet, disconnection from devices, and enjoying the scenery. Virgilio was beyond amazing and gave us a tour, clear instructions, and was available when needed. We had difficulty with internet and driving directions and he was so helpful. His wife made the most delicious banana bread I’ve ever eaten and I am not just saying that. You got to enjoy this gem of a place!!!

truly a gem of a place. stayed one night to just rest & relax, and it was perfect! so many nooks and corners to lounge around in. the bath was lovely too. every detail of the house is so thoughtfully curated and constructed. it was so peaceful to just unwind, listen to the rain, and take in the sights of the surrounding jungle. would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Le logement était exactement ce à quoi on s’attendait après avoir consulté l’annonce et les commentaires des invités précédents. Anjelica est une hôte exemplaire, attentionnée, ouverte d’esprit et ses déjeuners sont succulents. Elle nous permettait d’utiliser sa cuisine extérieure, ce qui nous permettait de passer de belles soirées en nature. La terrasse du cottage a une vue époustouflante sur la vallée.

We had an amazing stay at David’s place! David was extremely communicative and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. It was clean and everything was provided for us :) the outdoor gym was a nice added touch.

Really nice spot. Super friendly couple. Had awesome chats every morning. I was so burned out from life and Kris was on top of the suggestions. The combination of a peaceful place to stay and having someone support my agenda really made for a nice vacation. Also loved the feel of the home and the earthen floors which made me feel hugged and cozy. Thanks again!!

Genaro’s place was just as pictured. Great location and walkable to several restaurants. Close to attractions like rope swing, Fortuna waterfall, hot springs, and more. The host was very responsive, and we even got a couples massage within a couple hours of requesting it. Would recommend!!

Fantastic way to end the celebration of 40 years of marriage. The Hobbit House was just like Tolkien would have wanted it!!
