Bay Cottage

A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. The most wonderful cottage to spend your vacation Whether you are looking for a romantic country retreat, a seaside pad for some family fun, or a traditional farm cottage to get back to nature, this is a holiday home waiting for you. It is possible to drive all the way to Hilmarsstova, locaded 90 meters over all other buildings with the most wonderful views of the surrounding area. On a clear evening you get unobstructed view to the twinkling stars above without disturbing city lighting,

Luksus sommerhus i fantastiske omgivelser.

Luksus sommerhus fra 2022 i skønne omgivelser med en fantastisk udsigt, beliggende i et afsides sted med et utroligt rigt dyreliv. Du kan møde harer lige udenfor huset, og fugle bygger reder runt omkring i græsmarkerne. Der er 12 sengepladser i huset, plus 2 rejsesenge til småbørn, men masser af plads for ekstra madrasser på gulvet. Fra juli 2023 er det muligt at leje adgang til jacuzzi til 6 personer mod ekstra gebyr. 1.000kr for 1 dag, de efterfølgende dage koster det 500kr pr dag.

Huset er renoveret i 2016 og er i 2 etager. Huset ligger i hjertet af Vágur og beliggenheden er fantastisk. Gratis parkering. Indenfor 100 meter har du en tøjbutik, supermarked, kunstmuseum med Ruth Smith, pub og bus stop. Indenfor 200/300 meter har du 2 tankstationer og en dejlig park. Ca 1,5 kilometer er der 50 meter svømmehal,med spa, massage, fitnes. Ved siden af er der også en aktivitesthal, med løbebane, klatrevæg og fodboldbane m.m. Der er rige muligheder at gå i naturen.

Charmerende hus med havudsigt

Her kan du roligt læne dig tilbage og slappe af i vores unikke og rolige sommerhus. Huset blev bygget i 1920, men er netop blevet nyrenoveret. Nyd den flotte havudsigt fra næsten alle vinduer. Placeringen er central. Den lokale købmand ligger 250 m fra huset, og 30 m fra huset ligger kajen, hvor der er mulighed for at fiske. Der er 4 værelser, 2 større og 2 mindre. Tilsammens er der 7 sovepladser. Kun 10 min kørsel til fodboldhal, svømmehal, café’er og resturanter.

Min bolig lægger tæt på hav og fjelde. Du vil elske min bolig på grund af udsigterne og omgivelserne. Min bolig er god til par og familier (med børn). Stærk natur, hvor mulighed for at se sæler, edderfulge og andre fugle er rimelig stor. Fra Akrar er det hurtigt med bil at komme rundt på Suderø, som er en Færøernes smukkeste øer. Fra Akrar op til for eksempel Eggjarnar er der ca 20 minutter i bil, og her er en af de smukkeste udsigter du kan opleve.

Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

Family house near the sea in Suduroy/Faroe Island

Our house is in Vágur, Suðuroy. It is spacious and has four bedrooms. Petrol station, Magn, is in walking distance. We are the closest neighbours to Pálshøll, aquatic center. The location is perfect for exploring Suðuroy, and Vágur has dining and shopping oppourtunities. We personally love walking around the lake west from the village.

Relaxing summerhouse in Akrar

The house is located in a quiet village called Akrar on the island Suðuroy (Suderø). There are only 13 houses in the village and therefore it is very peaceful and quiet. The house is newly renovated and consists of two stories and a basement. There are approximately 7 kilometers to the nearest town, called Vágur.

We renovated this old boathouse 2021. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people.
