Raithal is a small, fairy-like village located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The cottage is located at 2250msl and has absolutely stunning views of the Himalayas range. The food eaten here is locally grown. Raithal is known for Dayara Bugyal, located at 3408m. It is an 8.5 km scenic trek all the way to the top. The cottage is in midst of greenery and guests would need to climb up a hill for 400 m that may take 10 to 15 mins. pl reserve only if you are comfortable with this pls

Our homestay is situated above the Harsil market. Reaching there requires a short hike along a narrow path encompassed by tall pine trees. Our home offers a panoramic view of the entire Harsil Valley and the Bhagirathi river. Harsil is 25 km (1 hour) before 'Gangotri', making it the perfect layover spot before you begin your religious pilgrimage to the Gangotri temple. Our homestay is 2 km from Bhagori, a Tibetan colony. It also lies near other trekking routes.
