Fritz was very welcoming, friendly and communicative! He made us feel like family with how sincere he was and reaching out to check in if we needed anything. He also shared suggestions to places near by and restaurants we could check out as it was my Birthday trip-getaway! We have referred our family and friends to his cabin because it was a little piece of heaven. Away from the city life chaos. The icing on the cake was the private hot tub right outside the bedroom through a separate door. The perfect couples getaway! The host makes all the difference with Airbnb experiences. And Fitz was one of the best I have ever come across. He treats guests with respect and kindness! We will be going back in the fall for my husbands Birthday. :)

Place is brand new and very cute with the black bears! Very very steep roads driving there.

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

such a charming little place to stay on our way back down from massachussets. we stated for 2 days to rest before heading back down to Georgia. We left feeling refreshed. The house was so cozy and private. The hot tub was an amazing addition to wrap up our vacation. We especially loved how comfortable the pillows and bed was in the master, and the fact that there was black out curtains throughout the house so we didn't have to wake up early to the brightness. Our 3 year old absolutely loved the rock river too!!

Great spot to stay for a trip to shenandoah! Clean and comfy. Fire pit, grill and hot tub worked out well for us! Bring bug spray though :) beautiful and will be back hopefully. Hosts were responsive and helped us out when necessary.

What an incredible view!! Ray's place is private and feels like you're on top of the world! I loved the privacy and incredible view, also, of the hot tub. It was the perfect spot for my weekend getaway - personal retreat. I'd love to come back.

Aaron's house was a cozy retreat. I stayed with my husband and our 4yo and 2yo and everyone was comfortable. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed eating dinners on the screened in porch and on the patio and loved being able to see the woods from our bed.

We loved this gorgeous cabin in the woods with the sweetest bear-themed decor. It was really well-equipped so we could cook our own meals and Marty and Mellanie were great communicators who suggested a few nice hikes. The only downside was the crazy number of bugs! Be sure to bring the bug spray and it's not super pleasant sitting outside because of that so be warned.

If you looking for some place with your better half for couple days, believe me, THIS IS IT! Kelly is very nice person, very easy to communicate with! Plus the place… believe me it’s waaaaay better than on pictures! Very privet away from anything, when you get in you don’t even want to get out anymore! Definitely will be back❤️ Thank You Kelly!!

Great home. Very private and plenty of space. Walking distance (via a fire road) to Shenandoah National Park and the Appalachian Trail. Plenty of nice touches to keep adults and kids feeling at home. Excellent value for the price.

Sereda’s cabin exceeded our expectations. It was a little gem in the woods where we relaxed on the veranda, BBQ’d and sat round the camp fire outside. Great places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay here! Everything was perfect. Our favorites were the hot tub, big windows, and outdoor area! We would absolutely stay here again!! The hosts were AMAZING!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at Naked Creek Cabin! It was private, cozy, well-appointed and it was perfect amount of space for our family of six (2 teenagers, a preteen, and an infant). The first day it rained heavily, so we were able to take advantage of the foosball table, board games, and the large tv in the loft. The WiFi worked well, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, as well as the cabin was stocked with pretty much anything you might need besides personal toiletries. Which, we did forget toothpaste🤦‍♀️ but the drive to town was a quick 15 minutes, as well as the drive to the entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Thankfully, the rain subsided our 2nd day so we were able to enjoy some of Skyline Drive and end our night with a dip in the hot tub and s’mores by the firepit. It was a memorable family weekend celebrating my husband’s birthday! Next time, we will bring our fur babies, an added bonus that the cabin is well stocked for them too!

Our little family had a wonderful weekend at the cabin! Bobby was more than accommodating with us having to change plans after we initially booked. The cabin itself was comfortable and secluded. Our kiddos loved making a fire in the evenings and us parents enjoyed the hot tub during their naps. Bobby was very responsive and everything was just as described. We enjoyed some of the local civil war sights and Luray cavern! We would love to come back one day!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

Darryl place was a beautiful relaxing place during our week long stay for a project site in Harrisonburg, VA. I would return again tp enjoy the area during the winter season. The location was very beautiful and relaxing. It was the perfect retreat from busy day of work. It has all the ammenties you would to host a small work crew or a small family.

Very beautiful farm! Just what I was looking for to get the kids unplugged for a little while while they were on spring break. William was very clear with his instructions I screenshotted all directions so we didn't struggle getting there once we lost signal. he was also very gracious with letting us have a late check out! Great host, and beautiful cabin! We'll be looking forward to visiting again!

The best way to review a stay is to say that you will return. I will definitely return to this cabin! I'll put it on my list of favorites.

It was our first stay at this lovely cabin, we are definitely going to come back and stay longer in future. Great location, 7 min of driving from the nearest scenic overlook. We are impressed with details in the cabin, everything is made for comfortable staying! Thanks 😊

I cannot begin to explain how special this cabin by the creek is. We sat out on the back porch and listened to the water and the rain and felt like we were experiencing something truly special. There was plenty of privacy and we took several drives to Harrisonburg, local parks, and unique sights nearby with ease. The cherry on top of our trip was our proposal with the background sounds of the forest and spring. The hosts were responsive, accommodating, and have a lovely property. Our dogs enjoyed walking around the woods and sitting with us on the porch. This was a memorable experience and we hope to be back next year!

True southern hospitality, a beautiful, walkable property, and a clean, cozy cabin. I am already planning my next trip/stay. It is near lots of great hiking. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, private stay in the woods. Thank you Jen & Kris for being such amazing hosts!

There are many details about the cabin that Sarah added to make the place feel comforatble and homey. We were especially lucky to be there when the iris, mountain laurel and some roses that surrouond the cabin were blooming, but I expect there are other flowers at other times.

Surprised my girlfriend with a stay here for a hiking trip and she was over the moon. This cabin was absolutely beautiful and the surroundings made the stay very peaceful. The inside was extremely clean and entry was no problem at all. This was my first time using Airbnb and everything went really smoothly thanks to the host.

The cabin is gorgeous. The place was clean and easy to get into. highly recommend.
