We had the most wonderful stay at Maud's place and if it were possible, we would give 10 stars! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Maud's exceptional hospitality and attention to detail made our experience truly unforgettable. Her communication was outstanding throughout our entire stay, and she thought of absolutely everything to make us comfortable. The space she has created is a perfect sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. Every corner has been thoughtfully designed and maintained with such care. We were constantly amazed by the beautiful touches and amenities that made our stay so special. We cannot recommend this place highly enough - it exceeded all our expectations. Thank you, Maud, for being such an incredible host and creating such a wonderful retreat.

Amazing location thanks Natalie we will definitely be back. Incredible views with direct access to Karatara river and Swartvlei. Beautiful kayaking or sailing spot with lots of birdlife. Simple facilities provided exactly as the description lists but you really don't need anything more.

An absolute gem! Unspoilt nature in rustic yet extremely comfortable, well maintained and clean accommodation. Although power sources are solar and gas, you still have all the comforts of home - just better because it is so amazingly quiet and peaceful…and the stars…oh, my goodness…incredible night sky!!

We were absolutely blown away with this place! The staff were amazing, the chef, John, was 10/10 (some of the best food we ever had), the grounds are so beautiful and peaceful and the rooms were amazing! Maina, the manager, was always there to help us with anything at all and he also arranged for a local driver, Simon, to bring us to the camp from the Masai Mara, as well as transport us around Naivasha for our various activities throughout our stay and finally drop us off in Nairobi on our last day and Simon was 10/10 as well! There are lots of things to do nearby and Isabel and Maina were great at communicating before the trip to make sure we made the most out of our time there. The only complaint we had was that we didn't stay long enough!!

Paul was a great host. The accommodation was clean and fun for the family. Highly recommend it stay on Pauls farm.

This campsite is in a wonderful spot, it is spotless clean and host is friendly, helpful and knowledgable of the local area. It can be a stop off on Garden route or a base for a longer stay. We will be back ;-)

This place has stunning views of the Israeli and Jordanian mountains—we even saw foxes and camels nearby! Great location for exploring Masada and the Dead Sea. Gili was a kind, responsive host and even showed our kids his pet goat. The tent is simple but comfortable, and the outdoor shower with a view was a highlight. Would definitely come back!

Our little family have an awesome time . We stayed for two nights and it was lovely. From the booking to the communication everything was excellent. This family owned place is well managed , run with kindness and grace. We operated the boiler Donkie for the first time and had warm water for showering. It is clean and well taken care off. Great Wi-Fi and all cooking tools were provided. We went for morning walks with the kids and had amazing time. They have a cactus tree a beautiful and rare find. If you looking for a great Glamping experience with the family away from the big city- 2 hours away from Johannesburg. I highly recommend it. We will be coming back soon. Thank you for a great place.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Loved the peaceful, private tranquil location, the scenery was gorgeous.. The establishment was well stocked with all of our needs and the walks and trails were well sign posted in the stunning Langeberg. Loved the hot tub at night under the stars 🌟 definitely can become an annual favourite 😍

What a wonderful break from the city! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was absolutely stunning, and the tent offered pure relaxation.

The tent was fabulous. Had everything needed. Hot tub was awesome. It unfortunately rained for the 2 days we were there. The tent did not leak at all. Held up great in the wind - of which there was a lot. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Sophia was very helpful.

I wanted to get away from the city and this was the perfect spot for a quiet and private getaway. I appreciated the comfortable bed and waking up to the sound of the river and the birds. I really liked the outdoor tub and the quick walk down to the river. Kevin was responsive and gave clear instructions, and other staff members at the property were very nice and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this place and I see myself coming back.

This place is a gem, it's beautiful and had everything we needed. it is a well maintained fully off the grid environment with friendly people who are really passionate about the sanctuary. The tour through the sanctuary is great, they really know their animals well and respect their natural behavior.

A peaceful and well-designed retreat in the heart of the Klein Karoo. The tented camp is modern, clean, and comfortable, with sweeping views and a strong sense of space and stillness. 🌄⛺ We loved the self-drive safaris, enjoying quiet and unrushed explorations across a vast reserve. Along our journey, we spotted various wildlife, including Kudu, Giraffe, Gemsbok, and Black Wildebeest, as well as an abundance of birdlife. 🚙🦓🦒 The setting is open and natural, ideal for unwinding and reconnecting with the outdoors. It’s pet-friendly — our dogs enjoyed every moment 🐾 — though the camp isn’t enclosed, so do plan ahead. The hosts were welcoming and respectful of privacy, with everything thoughtfully prepared. A great choice for families or small groups seeking a calm, nature-focused escape with just the right balance of comfort and wilderness.

Was für ein wunderbarer Ort! Wenn wir das vorher geahnt hätten, wären wir nicht nur für eine Nacht geblieben. Abends im Pool mit diesem Licht ist ein Traum. Morgens den Vögeln lauschen ist wunderbar. Und Markus ein supernetter Vermieter. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

What a beautiful gem! Perfect place to relax in nature that's less than an hour away from Nairobi and at a reasonable price. Monique provided great instructions and support, Mary was great as was her food (amazing chai!) & she made sure we had everything we needed, and Jackson made sure we saw all the animals we could on the safari! As others have said, the outdoor shower was amazing - hot water against the slight wind was an awesome experience. The shallow pool was nice to dip in. The outdoor fire was nice while stargazing. Overall, a relaxing great place.

We absolutely loved our stay. The landscape was stunning. Walks were so pretty and the cleaning staff were an complete treat!

Maria is an excellent host. I arrived to this experience by hasard and I enjoyed so much. Maria was very supportive about check-in time and even at the end of our trip gave us a lift to the airport. Her car is robust and trustable and the option to camp allowed us to enjoy Crete of an unique way. Thank you very much for everything Maria and I hope we see you again in the future. What a magical place! Taking a shower while you see the monkeys playing around and the moon is priceless! The setup is great, has everything for a few days and Iain was absolutely wonderful in helping out with suggestions/recommendations, as well as George (caretaker) and the local driver David who were much appreciated throughout my stay :) location is quiet and a close walk to the beach, bed is super comfy and everything was simply great!!

It was one of the most beautiful and unique stay experiences of my life! ✨ I booked the beach view tent and I couldn’t have asked for anything more for my stay! Food was great, I wanted vegetarian food, they specially prepared, the people were very friendly and helpful throughout :) Woke up to the turquoise waters to swim - felt like a private beach till 10:30 AM (after that local boats and ferries begin to come for the day tours) I would recommend everyone travelling to Fethiye to stay at least 1 night here and live the magical experience! Don’t forget to step out of the tent to view the starry night! ✨

Jad was super helpful and overall a super nice guy. The campsite has the perfect location, just below the nature reserve with a hiking treck starting right above. The view from the campsite is spectacular, especially the sunset! The campground is (as of today) simple in its facilities, but has everything you need (you might want to bring a sheet to use inside the provided sleeping bags). Jad told us about the plans for the site and we are very curious to see its development and the great plans come to life. Overall: fantastic primitive camping experience in an exceptional setting!
