A venture out in the car takes you to various restuarants in the vacinity, horse riding, golf, trout fishing to name a few. Forty minute drive to Sani Pass gets you an expedition into Lesotho. Enjoy a peaceful farm stay in our self-catering cottage with a private garden. It features two en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room with an indoor fireplace. Relax outside with a braai, firepit and nearby dam. Explore hiking, walking, mountain biking, or fishing, and feeding our friendly horses. Guests enjoy secure parking, free WiFi, 24-hour access, and a swimming pool. We are pet friendly. Braai packs, potjie packs, side dishes, and wood are available on order.

Historic Countryside Stable Cottage. Pet Friendly.

The Stalletjie was featured on Spasie, a DStv-series about SMALL buildings that have been given a (second) life in innovative ways. Until recently the building that dates from 1920 was still occasionally used as a stable. Your canine companions are welcome—there is the kraal area as well as a fenced yard where they can play. The original window openings are too high. For this reason, there is a ceiling fan and two external doors, one of which has a mesh door that can be secured open.

The secret is to ask for Cabin 11. Located on the Kopbeenskloof farm, the cabin is a rustic farm experience for those on the go. Bring your own bedding. Communal ablution facilities. Braai/BBQ facilities available. Please arrange meals with the host.
