Or jump on the Flint Hills Nature Trail - one of the longest rail trails in the US and a favorite for hiking and biking.

On the water and nestled in the trees, its a great location for a private get away. The main level features two queen bedrooms, a TV room, bath, kitchen and lakeview room overlooking the large, gently sloping yard and lake. Additional sleeping with futons in the TV room and lakeview room. Enjoy brick-paved patio with colorful adirondaks around fire pit, a hammock, horseshoes, ping pong, charcoal grill and picnic table. Located in downtown Emporia's Art and Entertainment District where many major events are held. With-in walking distance of the Granada Theater and ESU. Ample free parking. This space is located in the lower level of a commercial office building that has recently been re-purposed as a guest friendly temp-stay unit with kitchenette. This spacious cabin sits on a small farm in Osage City, Kansas. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay: loft bedroom with a queen bed, queen size bed on ground floor and a twin bed on ground floor. The cabin also has an open kitchen, bathroom with shower, wood-burning stove, surround-sound stereo and a TV (Netflix and YouTube available). You’ll have the entire place to yourselves. Be mindful that we often have cattle in the surrounding pasture.
