The Menchey House was a fantastic find! Great, historical building with Civil War relics on display, which I thought was really cool. Chris was a great host. Easily the best airBNB I’ve ever stayed in!

My wife & I stayed for 4 nights with our greyhounds for Greyhounds in Gettysburg. It was the perfect place to stay. 15 minutes to the GiG venues and the Military Park as well as 20 minutes away from Hanover, Pa. The place was perfect for our needs and was in a very quiet and peaceful location. We would definitely reserve this space for future trips to Gettysburg. Highly recommend!

David was very responsive to any questions/requests. The home is very well appointed and beautifully decorated. Extremely clean. Be aware of the unpaved road. I don't think a low lying car would make it up the mountain. My friend and I love nature. This was a great spot for us. There are 4 state parks, plus Gettysburg within 30 minutes.

If you’re looking to get away from this clustered fast paced world. You need to slow down life and stay here a bit, reminds you of times when life was a little easier with the nostalgic feeling the home provides.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home was beautiful and well-stocked. It very comfortably fit our party of 9 plus an infant and was a short drive to both Gettysburg and grocery stores. The homeowner kept the home well-stocked and clean, which was very much appreciated! Overall great experience!

Check in was easy. The house was clean. Very nice and cozy! The screen porch was so nice. Our dogs loved watching the outside from the screen porch. The neighbors were so friendly- shout out to Amy who greeted me and chatted for a bit—- she was lovely! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was super clean. It was close to Gettysburg and all of the activities for our Greyhounds in Gettysburg event. Perfect place to stay with some pooches!

We stayed at this property the weekend of our wedding and it was perfect! The house and surrounding area were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! It was clean and stocked well with supplies. All the amenities listed were present and functioned well. Jeanne was a wonderful host! She was very responsive and made us feel right at home! We couldn't recommend this Airbnb more and can’t wait to visit again!

WOW! What an amazing air bnb and property! Dawn was a great host and very attentive to our needs and great to talk with. We had dogs with us and were able to use the trails around the property to run them. I cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful experience in the peaceful countryside. Spent time on the patio, enjoying the yard, and watching the horses. The family that owns the property was friendly and kind. We saw a beautiful bald eagle at sunset that was the cherry on top to a lovely weekend away!

We really enjoyed this place. It was a great location and only 30 minutes from Hershey (which we also visited while there). The house was in a location that felt safe and clean. My daughter and I went for a walk on the sidewalk our first evening there. The back yard is fenced in and when out there you felt as though you were in our own secluded oasis. The house is older and quirky (that we all enjoyed), but has this comfortable charm about it. Our group enjoyed the air hockey table and the pool (even though it was 54 degrees and cloudy) that didn’t keep them from the pool. Brooks reach out before our arrival with check in information and was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to staying again when we visit the area.

The cabin was lovely and exactly as described. It was stocked with everything we needed including plenty of toilet paper, soap, trash bags, towels, etc. The games in the basement helped to keep the kids entertained. Mariou was responsive and helpful, including when we had to unexpectedly extend our stay one night. We would love to stay there again.

Our family of 10 stayed here for a few days to relax. Plenty of room. We had a very peaceful quiet experience. Very clean , very organized , the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the place is exactly as the pictures showed. My only suggestion is with a place that sleeps 10 there should be a bigger living room couch and or more living room chairs. Our family loves watching movies together. We love the place and were very pleased.

Very clean and exactly as expected. Knew from other reviewers/pictures that we'd be short on dining room space, so that was not a surprise and we mostly were able to make it work. Hosts responded to questions very quickly and were helpful in figuring out what we needed to bring, etc and set up a pack n play for us before arrival which was appreciated :-)

Great house in a quiet neighborhood, close to some cute local restaurants and a quick, scenic drive to Gettysburg. The fully-fenced yard is perfect for furry friends, and there is also a park nearby.

This was a really cool stay for us. We like being off the beaten path. Our dogs loved it too. There is some cool history surrounding the property too!! Close enough to Gettysburg but far away enough to escape the business of the tourists.

Great location and cute town! The place was walkable to a great coffee shop with pastries and also a local sandwich shop. Plenty to do nearby and convenient to what we needed. Safe area, too.

The house was just like described, an old farmhouse. I requested to check in early, due to already being in the area and it was snowing. while we were out having a late lunch, Danielle texted us that we had lost power and included the text from the Electric company. the last night there, I had a problem opening the key box and I called her and her husband came right away and helped me get in. We will consider staying there again.

Beautiful spot, lots of privacy, good cell signal for working remotely. This place is perfection!
