The Menchey House was a fantastic find! Great, historical building with Civil War relics on display, which I thought was really cool. Chris was a great host. Easily the best airBNB I’ve ever stayed in!

This is our second time staying at the “dog house” with Kayla. As usual the place does not disappoint and Kayla really thinks of everything to make your stay comfortable. The house is immaculate and smells clean. We will definitely be back. My dogs give it a five paw rating.

While only a short stay, Pawel’s house was perfect for our Gettysburg visit.. The house has so much charm and has been updated beautifully. The rooms are large and well appointed. Pawel’s instructions were easy and well communicated. The location is walkable to downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Matthew was a great host! Communicated in a timely and friendly manner and was flexible with our request to be able to get there earlier than scheduled. Whenever I had questions he got back to us quickly. Home is lovey, comfortable and clean. Location for everything in Gettysburg is 100% the best! Just close enough to everything without the crowds of Gettysburg. We would def stay here again. One of my favorite girls weekend trips ever! ❤️🤍💙

This was our third time staying at the lavender house. Obviously, we love it! Lisa is a wonderful host, quick to respond and obviously takes pride in ensuring her guests enjoy their stay. The house is beautiful! Decorated throughout with antiques, and the hardwood floors and exposed wood beams in the ceiling, it has a historical feeling, with all the modern necessities (dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc). And the town of Gettysburg is just a 10 minute drive and has something for everyone, from a plethora of shops and restaurants to breweries and museums. We have walked through the battlefields and even toured Eisenhower’s farm. This area is rich with history and beautiful scenery. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back! Lisa also owns The Pub right in the town square which has delicious food and an impressive bar menu!

Great location, very walkable! Comfortable beds, hot shower, all around exactly what we were looking for!

The house was wonderful. Peaceful location, large lot for the dogs to leash walk around, very quiet location. The ride to Gettysburg is short and overlooking the East Cavalry Battlefield is nice. House was very clean and neat. The kitchen was well supplied (even farm fresh eggs!). Steve responded quickly to any questions. Want to book again.

My elderly parents stayed here for the last almost 4 months in total and we couldn't have been more pleased. Karen and her husband John are just absolutely amazing all the way around. Karen is so kind and so helpful, they really went above and beyond to make such a pleasant experience for my parents. Her husband John is just as kind and personable, whatever my parents needed, they were right there to take care of it. The place is fabulous! It is SUPER clean and decorated so nice, lots of space, big driveway, and a very nice yard. The location is just minutes away from all kinds of great things to do around Gettysburg. I could go on and on about Karen, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. We enjoyed being able to chat with her here and there over the past months and we are going to miss her. We will never forget you both! Thank you for everything 🥰

We had a lovely weekend stay at Michael’s apartment in Gettysburg! Michaels home was the center point of everything we did; it was close to the battlefield, cemetery, Jennie Wades home, The Dobbins House, and a short distance to the town square. The home was very clean and had every accommodation you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you, Michael, for your fantastic home!

The place was neat and clean. Michelle gave great instructions to walk you through how to get in and where to park. The place had all the necessary amenities. It was a quiet area and easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping. Michelle was a great host!

First of all, Holly's description of the place was accurate. The bathtub was as she described it, but I had no trouble getting into it. I found the clawfoot tub contributed to the ambience of the apartment. As indicated in the description, the apartment was on the small side and quite adequate for our needs. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen equipment was sufficient, and the decor was eclectic and homey. The age of the house brought me a bit of nostalgia, as it reminded me of my grandmother's home in PA. Our questions, as stupid as they may have been, were answered in a timely manner. Our schedule was tight, and the location fit the bill. We walked to the Presbyterian Church for the Palm Sunday Service and a Memorial service later in the day. The Polish Stoneware store was my favorite - it is a go-to store in the area.

This apartment was clean and nicely appointed, and even had an electric kettle and teas, which I appreciated as a tea drinker! The bed was very comfortable. Our favorite thing though was the fenced in large backyard that had a bocce court and nice little fountain. Jeff and his wife were very friendly and gave us a lot of recommendations in the area and responded quickly to our texts. We would stay here again!

We spent a week here while we went on different civil war and ghost tours. We had a great time and this place was awesome. It’s right outside of town which is nice and you are less than a 5 min drive from downtown. As some have said previously, you could hear faint music from the shop next door. It wasn’t an issue and we only heard it in the living room. Didn’t affect our stay at all.

Wow what an incredible stay! Cathy has thought of everything and is super helpful and responsive so my work trip went the smoothest and I had a really restful and lovely time! Cathy made the most incredible cookies and even allowed me to check out late so I could finish up some work before I left- what a gem of a host and human! Do yourself a favor and stay with her when you are in town or near l, I hope to be back too!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly accommodating with our check-in time and very responsive throughout our visit. The directions were clear and easy to follow, which made arrival a breeze. The house itself was spotless and had everything we needed— for cooking, to clean bathrooms, and cozy beds that made for a comfortable night’s sleep. It truly felt like a home away from home. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay even smoother. This will definitely be my go-to place whenever I come to visit my daughter at college. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the stay. Fun playing pool and watching vintage dvd— Beauty and the Beast. The museum was interesting. The lights in museum room were cool. Place had character. Would stay again.

Worked great for our short term work assignment

Clean, well equipped, good parking. You could hear the people next door talking but in the bedroom it was super quiet and peaceful. Parking is convenient, string is rural and peaceful. Great hosts and accommodating. Would stay again!

I have stayed here in the past- great location and never disappoints.

That's a really neat apartment, Actually me and my girl. We both brought up that we both could easily live in this apartment. It just had a really good vibe. If a bathroom it could be a RockStar, then this bathroom is Mick Jagger!!!! . Glass door walk and shower two shower heads.. With plenty of room for both so . The only problems I had it was, I couldn't get the Tv too. Do you make any type of connection with any link. And the air conditioner in the second bedroom with the electric bed was put into lock mode. .. , when I first arrived to the apartment, it was warm enough to break a sweat. There was also a ceiling fan that were just fine. I wasn't a big fan of that room. Anyways, so it wasn't a big deal. And the rest of the air conditioners and the apartment worked perfectly.
