This is one of those Airbnb that deserve six stars. The pictures in the listing don’t do it justice. It sits on a hill above the sea such that all you see out the windows is water and mountains. They converted what had been a garage into a cozy, living, eating, and sleeping space. Everything is so well built and there is so much attention to detail that you feel like you are in a much larger space. There’s nothing that hasn’t been well thought out and designed. And Andy and Jenny are such warm and friendly people you immediately feel like you’re part of the family. I could go on and on, but I will leave it there and simply say I highly recommend it.

Great place to stay. Perfect location with walking trails, a beautiful beach, and a great little restaurant all minutes walk from your front door. Our host was wonderful and extremely helpful during our stay. 100% reccomend staying here.

Pictures of the view from the main living room/dining room was what drew me to the property and the reality did not disappoint. The house was very homely, comfortable and Isabella was friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated that there was plenty of comfortable seating for the number of people the house can accommodate to sleep. The dishwasher did not work during our visit which was an inconvenience as we were a large family group who cooked regularly during our visit, so clearing up took significantly more time than we would have liked, but once Isabella was made aware, she did not hesitate to get it seen to as soon as possible. Unfortunately it could not be repaired during our visit but I cannot fault Isabella's reponse to the situation, it was just unfortunate. I would definitely recommend the property; it is clear a lot of thought has gone into the property to make it as comfortable as possible for guest. Thank you.

Our third stay in this wonderful house . Homely and cosy with a great log burner and everything you need . Stunning views and great access to the beautiful north coast . Bring a head torch if you arrive after dark . Logs are available at Bettyhill cafe and the Wee Shop on the way to Thurso . Can’t recommend highly enough as a great ‘getaway from it all ‘ place to relax and unwind .

The location was perfect. It’s quite hard to find a place if you don’t make reservations in advance (even in April) so keep that in mind. The place was lovely. And Fiona was very responsive.

Ideal studio apartment for a holiday break. Everything had been thought of by Katie. It was clean and tidy and well equipped. Katie even provided the view! Stunning location - it sits directly opposite and very close to the harbour where there is lots of activity. A perfect place to stay.

Lovely few days away very relaxing Charlette was a great host. We hope to go back sometime.

The most beautiful home on gorgeous grounds. The house had everything we needed to cook our meals and the views were breathtaking. We loved turning the lights out and seeing the stars at night. Sofie was kind and helpful with all of our requests during our stay. Thank you again for such an incredible experience!

My wife and our 2 little boys stayed at Gemma’s place for 3 nights. Instructions were great, check-in was easy, the place was spotless and within 50m walk of the beach. Helpfully, all of the things that you need for a short stay but don’t wish to buy especially were also there (eg buckets and spades, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, olive oil, soap, tea coffee etc) a great stay - thank you!

Sarah was a fantastic host and really friendly. She kindly delivered new garden furniture which was really appreciated given the lovely weather. A great caravan with everything you need.

Lovely stay at Shirley’s lodge. Caravan was really clean, beds super comfy and lots of games was a bonus. Great to have the bath, washing machine and dishwasher. Place was spotless and loved the decor. One row back from the beach and huge bit of grass at the front for the kids. Great communication from Shirley and we all had a fab time

A beautifully kitted out caravan which was spotless throughout. Lots of local info, right on the beach. All information was sent in advance and any additional questions were answered quickly. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back again next year!

We can honestly say we have never felt so chilled and at home at any property we have rented. This was a last minute find but was genuinely worth it. Clear and concise directions to get to property and once there no need to get in your car again. Alasdair was very quick with answering queries about how to more than anything. Local shops and restaurants are on your doorstep so if you forget anything pop to local Co-op an approximate 10 minute walk. The beach is so sandy (yes that's a funny thing to say but important in the UK) - nice and clean and the locals are genuinely happy and engaging, must be something in the water as the locals all meet early morning for a swim. The house is great. Good size kitchen and living room, and the bedrooms were big. Bathrooms clean and well stocked with shower gel and shampoo and importantly toilet paper. Lounge has a log burner which is easy to use and a tv with good reception. A great experience to be re-enjoyed

Last minute get away, the pod it’s self was absolutely beautiful, warm and well equipped. Easy check in, the private hot tub was a lovely. Shower wasn’t that powerful but it absolutely did the job! Check the safety information if you are allergic to horses. 🫣 it does state that there will be horses close (I clearly didn’t check this before booking, ooops) Although they were no problem at all!! They were far enough away from the pod apart from a blink in the morning so it was absolutely no issue for us really. Overall it is a beautiful place and we highly recommend staying here!! Wonderful cottage with some great history to it. When I finally sat down at the water front and had a glass of wine I really gave in to how beautiful and wonderful this place is. Great view of the mountains and so many neat little touches to the property. The kids loved looking for sea glass and watching the tides come in and out. The games cupboard was a huge hit with the kids as well as the bunk beds with a full shelf of books. Such a great place to really get a good feel for the area and the history.

Fantastic place. Very cosy clean and warm. It was really nice watching all the lambs play in adjacent fields. Would definitely recommend this for a nice wee change from the usual type of accommodation

Lovely and eclectic apartment. Travelled with a group of 4 and we were all very comfortable. Large living and dining room with lots to look at both inside and outside. Could not ask for a more beautiful and unique location. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate while we were there, but we enjoyed the cozy accommodations and local restaurant.

Vue exceptionnelle et accès à la mer imbattable. Carol et Martin nous ont réservé un accueil sympathique et chaleureux et ils nous ont fait des recommendations sur les environs. L emplacement est très bon pour découvrir Skye et la côte de Highlands.

We had a fabulous Christmas at An Dòbhran. The croft was modern, warm, comfortable, spacious, immaculately clean, the kitchen very well equipped and perfect for 4 adults. Duncan and Shona had left a welcome package of bread, milk and eggs, also a box of chocolates under the tree as a present, very thoughtful. Great communication before hand, Duncan answering all my questions and providing information. I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough, beautiful location, hotel and pub a short walk away, easy access for The Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan. We have stayed around this location many times before, and were very sad to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lossiemouth, Great location, easy walk into shops, restaurants and beach. Comfortable stay in a great location.
