A beautiful wee cottage, only a stone's throw away from the harbour, beach, hotel and shop. A perfect getaway. Cottage is comfortable, cosy and has everything you need. We were fortunate with the weather, able to sit out in the enclosed garden. If we ever have any queries, Nathalie is quick to respond. Highly recommended.

We just had great stay at Alexander's apartment. The place was fantastic, especially the views from living room and upstairs bedroom, just breathtaking. The place was very clean , so well done to housekeepers. Its decorated very nice . Its cozy, spacious , there's everything that you need and more . The perfect location for nature lovers like us, lots of beautiful walks, nice local pub and just amazing Fish and chips just 1 min away from apartment. The host is sooooo , so nice , communication was great, and she went the extra mile for us. Nothing was an issue. Pack your bags with confidence, because you will definitely have great time !!!

Lovely flat . In the town but not noisy and close to the beach with a nice walk to the harbour. Extremely happy with the flat. It’s roomy. Bed is comfortable. Lovely choice of items for breakfast. Highly recommend it

We were looking for a chilled break which also met our dog’s needs. The cottage is in a spectacular location, facing the sea with the coastal path right at the bottom of the garden. You do need a car to access this property which sits at the end of a single track lane, adjacent to the A92. The cottage was spotlessly clean, homely and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the enclosed garden area. The coastal path walk to Johnshaven is very pretty and only takes around 30-40 minutes where there is a pub/restaurant serving great food, excellent cafe..”Hidden treasures” and a lovely gift shop, the Starfish Studio, as well as the harbour. Claire gave us some very useful advice about other dog friendly eating venues around the area including Charlton Farm and Picsnax at St Cyrus nature reserve/beach. St Cyrus beach is stunning and is a must visit. We plan to return soon ..so much to see!

We had a wonderful stay at Dean´s lovely and cosy apartment. We enjoyed stunning sea views not only from the living room, but also from the kitchen. Cooking with a view so to say, which was a great experience. Dean was the perfect host. He and his family gave us a warm welcome and many helpful recommendations for family activities around town and in the countryside. We were travelling with our little daughter of 20 months and were glad to find full sleeping equipment and toys to play with at the beach and in the apartment. We would love to come back next time.

Rosie’s place was nice and warm with underfloor heating, all kept cosy with Rae-burn Stove. Nice big kitchen. Amazing sea views from the upstairs bedrooms. Very good to have blackout blinds. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

We are very satisfied. The place was great. We spent a week there, the hostess was very helpful and available all the time. A clean and tidy place, worth recommending.

This was perhaps the most welcoming, functional, and well appointed Airbnb places we’ve stayed. It is a pleasure recommending it.

Emma is a wonderful host, taking the time to meet us and check we were all settled okay. Ahead of our visit Emma responded very quickly with some suggestions for local restaurants. The Quayside and the Harbour Inn were great suggestions - thank you. The location is just perfect and we enjoyed our coastal walks. We had a wonderful break Emma thank you so much, and we hope to have the opportunity to come back again :-)

We had a lovely Easter break at Gail’s house. It was just as described and perfect for our family of old and young. Overlooking the beach and a 2 min walk to the harbour. (The only thing I want to flag for other families is the window on the very top floor springs out when opened and nearly took my Mum with it! Which was a very scary moment! So please don’t let any children open it as it’s then a sheer drop to the garden, and there was no lock on it). Other than that it was a perfect stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property. The location is excellent, it was really clean and tidy and my toddler loved the toys she found in the box in the living room. The welcome biscuits/wine was a lovely touch too.

Had a wonderful weekend at collieston beach, the weather was amazing! The house being on the beach front exceeded expectations. The house was larger than expected as pictures don't do the place justice. Carol was great at communicating through out and even sent over a load of towels for us. Thanks for letting us stay.

I had the pleasure of staying in Ricky and Katrina’s apartment for over two months while finishing up my research at the university, and it was a fantastic experience. The apartment itself is cosy and quiet, with a lovely view of the market square, which regularly hosts local markets and events on weekends. It’s the perfect place for anyone needing a peaceful space to focus, just as I had hoped. Throughout my stay, Katrina was responsive and understanding, always ready to help with any issues that came up. Her butcher shop below the apartment offers some truly delicious teriyaki salmon fillets—definitely don’t miss them if you have a kitchen! If you’re looking for a short stay in Stonehaven or a quiet, well-maintained spot to commute to nearby Aberdeen (or Edinburgh, if not frequent), I highly recommend staying at their place. It’s in a great location and makes for the perfect retreat for anyone needing a peaceful home base.

Booked this accommodation for our employees who were working in the area, the accommodation was perfect to come back to after a long hard day, would definitely recommend to anyone .
